Is it Buharis fault?A government that has been in power for 5months.Is it also the fault of Buhari that oil has fallen by more than 50 percent in price? |

Why is that it is only Ibos that are complaining, just because they lost the election with their Drunken Master of Otuoke? When they were bastardising our economy under Jonathan, people like Okonjo, Stealer Oduah etc where were they? They were busy shouting "leave our daughter alone". What you are seeing today is the repercussions of leaving your daughters alone. Alas, we are all suffering for the ineptitude of Jonathan and the corrupt tendencies of Igbos that he packed into his cabinet. We trust in Buhari to turn things around and surely he will. 1 Like |

chinchum: Thanks for your post jare. The OP took advantage of the fact that an average Nigerian does not read books. He posted several links that even from its heading, betrayal and purpose-conflict has set in! People just wanted to occupy FTC and FP to 'get' some cheap and 'fraudulent' likes, without going through the article nor it's links... The Nigerian boat was sinking and to bring it afloat, junks and drawbacks must be set aside and thrown out. It's OK if those drawbacks get themselves out of our country and out of our economy and out of our lives! |

calaway:::-- You are dishing out ratings and economic indices without considering that pollution can wipe away your robust, booming economy in minutes. You are used to insulting and name calling. You believe in JP Morgan ratings, IMF advice, World Bank policies and your people are suffering while Mu ltinationals are making more money and siphoning resources to the country home. Who is a Zombie and "follow follow" if not you? Heed my counsel, drop your certificate and use your hand to work and stop being e-warrior. |

Ikengawo: I am not a Buhari fan. But I think it is erroneous and preposterous to blame buhari for the misfortune of multinationals. The obvious reason for falling profits is the foreign exchange rate which has remained unfavorable for import dependent companies and their supporting services. do u want to also blame buhari for falling oil prices and overdependence on oil revenue? will u also blame him for an import dependent economy or for the gross corruption that makes it impossible to enforce simple import restrictions? Dude, get educated or get a life!!!! 2 Likes |

ransomed: is it that you are a mad man just raving or you are an illiterate? Lesson 1 to eternity for ransomed- 1. more profit declared translates to more tax accrued to FG, SG and Local governments while also providing for larger dividend for stake holders and the rippling effect of a better economy for society. It is always a positive thing. |

Poverty is not a lack of oppourtunity,it is the lack of vision. Luck is the meeting point between preparation, oppourtunity and hard work. Genius is knowing how to score or create solution when people give excuses,It is the gini at work within us. The dinasor became extinct because it felt too big to innovate, but the ant prospered because it was never afraid to work with others who are different. A liar will always claim that his witness lives in the next village. A lazy man blames anybody but himself for his misfortune. Leadership is good because it reveals a man's character and competency. If thou faints in the day of adversity, your strenght is small. The hobby of a wise man is learning, while that of a fool is argument. Only a fool will argue with numbers. You can chose to be wise or otherwise,it is all up to you. |

If you tighten the economy and there is liquidity squeeze, this is what happens. The spending power of Nigerians has been weakened so they cant purchase as much goods as they use to purchase hence those companies are posting losses. I believe that when the cabinet is fully set up and federal govt starts implementing the budget, more money will circulate and we can begin to notice improvements in the economy generally |

The truth which the ungrateful elements have refused to acknowledge is that they all depend on niger delta oil & the day its cut-off, they will all die of starvation!!! Ikengawo: .......and what do you think the situation would have been if the bayelsa man was still on seat........all you have mentioned are recoverable and temporal.....which is easier to do, build up or destroy.......a 7 day war can cause damages that will take 70 yrs to recover from.........all you have stated as evidences are symptomatic of a nation in a healing process.....the "damage" you're projecting is not caused by the present govt...time will tell! |
