If u read d previous threads, u wud know that after success in the second test, just keep ur mind off d app till u get contacted by shell I.e u might not even be contacted.

How can one tell if you did ok in the test?
Does regret mail comes immediately after the second test ( numerical ) if ones performance is low or it comes later just like saying...your application will now be given due consideration!!

Na that normal 'We will now give' but atleast I didn't receive regret mail immediately. That means I try small until the outcome.

To clear things.
I think there's a cut off mark for the numerical test reason those that didn't scale it get regret mails.

For those that passed I don't think anyone will receive an outright success mail reason those that passed are getting their mails in that format.

Shell can't interview everyone, they might need say X number of pple to proceed to interview stage, if they have more than that they might have to rank our scores and invite the top X candidates.

My deduction I don't have a "SAUCE" and I'm not working in shell I'm also a candidate.

Yeah, people receive regret mail immediately too

I wrote the competency test which is has eighteen questions but have not seen any link for the numerical test. I also saw this in the email containing the link for the competency test
* Shell will randomly select candidates to complete this assessment again during the Shell Recruitment Day. This is part of our procedure to ensure process integrity

Yeah, tentatively though pending when they review ur application. If u log into ur account on their website, ur application should be under review now.

Tips for the second test
Ensure you read the title of the tables/charts properly.
For fast percentage difference eg by wat percentage is 20 greater than 17..just do 20/17 then subtract 1..that'll give you the percentage..
Then by what percentage is 17 less than 20..wud be 17/20..then subtract the answer from 1

For quick percentage increment multiply by (1 + percentage) eg increase 28 by 12 %.. 28 * 1.12

For ratios, use you eyes.. Eg 11. 1 : 5.9 is very close to 11:6

Pls help us with receiver's address for the cover letter. A sample of the cover letter will be a great help
