I was almost in the same situation as you but got back into Canada a day before my visa expired I will advise you call CIC to find out if you should do it locally or have your passport sent to Canada ...I hope you're not in a hurry though sellmyadiva: |

Trust that I will have done that extensively before coming here . I even have all the documents needed already. I just want to know if there's anyone here that's done it? The docs they submitted ? how long it took to get a response? etc ...so to have a second opinion on my methods Ayodeledej: |

If your question is about "WHEN" I will say the earlier the better once you have all your documents ...I am sure a lot of people have already applied for September entry right now as you know most courses start on September yetunde84: |

If you take less than C$10k cash with you, you'll have nothing to worry about. With C$10k or more, you have to report it to Canada Border Services Agency. ugonnachimezie54: 3 Likes 1 Share |

romefe:Guy, you can use your personal discretion on this. If you successfully used this license here with no problem from police of FRSC, why not their? If you doubt the authenticity then don't present it! It's not so good to add more insult to the nation's integrity by putting up this info here! |

I'm sorry this is coming a bit late. I've been down for some days; just getting better. DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED MODE OF SUBMISSION: ONLINE SUBMITTED: FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST, 2015 BIOMETRIC: MON 31ST AUGUST, 2015 MEDICAL REQUEST: 21ST OCT 2015; MEDICALS COMPLETED: 26TH OCTOBER 2015; MEDICAL SUBMITTED BY IOM: 28TH OCT 2015; MEDICAL PASSED UPDATE: 28TH OCT 2015; PASSPORT REQUEST: 30TH OCT 2015; PASSPORT SUBMITTED: 2ND NOV 2015; APPROVAL MAIL: 4TH NOV 2015; TRV COLLECTED: 9TH NOV 2015; PROGRAM APPLIED FOR: MASTER OF EDUCATION (EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION) SCHOOL: BRANDON UNIVERSITY, MANITOBA FIRST DEGREE: BSC (ED.) BIOLOGY DOCUMENTS LOADS OF FASTING AND PRAYER; IN MY FIRST APPLICATION THAT WAS REFUSED, I USED THE ADMISSION LETTER FROM FACULTY OF EDUCTION(I did not wait for the Acceptance Letter from the Admissions Office because I received it very late. I think that was why PURPOSE OF VISIT was stated as one of the reasons for my denial. But in the second application, I submitted the ACCEPTANCE LETTER from the Admissions Office, which is more detailed than the one from the faculty of Education. IMM 1294E (APPLICATION FOR STUDY PERMIT) IMM 5645 (FAMILY INFORMATION) Another thing that I worked seriously on was my SOP. IN THE FIRST APPLICATION, I overlooked a lot of things in my SOP, but in the 2nd application, I made sure I left no stone unturned. For example, I have an unused 3 month Tanzania visa on my passport; the passport expired in November, 2014. In my SOP, I explained why I did not travel to Tanzania before the visa expired. EMPLOYMENT LETTER LETTER OF CONFIRMATION PROMOTION LETTER LETTER OF INTRODUCTION FROM SPONSOR (MY EMPLOYER) LETTER OF SPONSORSHIP FROM SPONSOR (MY EMPLOYER) STUDY LEAVE APPROVAL LETTER COMPANY'S CAC DOCUMENTS ( I did not submit tax clearance though); COMPANY'S ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION; COMPANY'S MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION; COMPANY STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT ( 3 months with a closing balance of N57M) MY PERSONAL STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT ( 3 months with a closing balance of N563K; my closing balance for the first application was N513K). 3 MONTH PAYSLIP LANDED PROPERTY IN MY NAME WITH THE C OF O; I did not use a co-sponsor in my 2nd application. Since my name appears in my aunt's company documents (an educational institution) as one of the directors, I only stated the company as part of my asset in my SOP. But in the first application, I used my my aunt as a co-sponsor. MY AUNT'S COMPANY REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS; MY FIRST DEGREE TRANSCRIPTS; FIRST DEGREE CERTIFICATE; (WAEC CERTIFICATE NYSC CERTIFICATE NYSC CALL-UP LETTER; NYSC DEPLOYMENT LETTER TO PLACE OF PRIMARY ASSESSMENT; POLICE CHARATER CERTIFICATE BIRH CERTIFICATE ( From National Population Commission). PROOF OF MEDICAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE APPLICATION THAT WAS REFUSED. 11 Likes 1 Share |

rsavvy: Ok. I did it some weeks back. We submitted all the documents relevant or irrelevant. Acct statement, cheques, proof of relationship including pictures, hone ties and a letter that explained my reasons for visiting my spouse and that I needed to work while visiting. It took about 5 weeks and half before I got called for medicals. Got medical passed within 2days. And the rest was easy. Took about 8 weeks in all. Although our stories may be different, just know prayer is key, both before and after the application and totally trust God. I hope that was helpful? 3 Likes |

In order to avoid this, was why j came in before the first visa ezpired. Cos ideally you're not advised to leave Canada without getting response to the app sellmyadiva: |
