Former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode has replied chairman of DAAR Communications, Chief Raymond Dokpesi over a statement credited to him about ex-president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. Speaking to newsmen at a media briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, Dokpesi had said that the imposition of Jonathan by the PDP might have been responsible for the party’s loss of the presidency in the last general election. Fani-Kayode has however dismissed this statement as untrue. The PDP chieftain took to his Twitter saying, "It was not a mistake for PDP to field Jonathan in the last election and neither is an apology for doing so appropiate or necessary."

Dokpesi has tried to apologise and draw sympathy(stating where he thought it aired).
Noting that acceptance/acknowledgement of mistakes is the first step in returning to drawing board.
