Ilesha Grammar School (81yrs old) is one of the successful high schools in Nigeria, the school has produced a lot of prominent Nigerians.

Not many know that prominent personalities like Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God; is a product of the school. Same goes for Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, the first Executive Governor of Lagos State. The present Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof. Adewole, a renowned Gynaecologist was also a student of Ilesa Grammar School. Oba Adeteju Adeyeye, Ado-Oko of Ido-Oko in Ijesaland, Hon. Justice Salihu Modibbo Alfa Belgore, a retired Chief Justice of Nigeria, Prof. Ephraim Ayoola, Justice Kayode Esho, Alhaji Wahab Iyanda Folawiyo (late), Prof. Sola Adeyeye, Justice Oyeluyi Agbaje-Williams, Engr. Josiah Agbeja, Chief Bandele Aiku, Dr. Festus Ajayi, Justice Emmanuel Araka, Ambassador Akinola Ashimolowo, Engr. Emmanuel Awoyinfa, Mr. Tayo Ayeni, the Westown Hotel boss and Justice Ayoola to mention a few are all old boys of the school. They have since become part of the success story of Ilesa Grammar School. They are all doing well in their endeavours. While many of the old students of IGS are based in Nigeria, some are living abroad, flying high the flag of the school.

This is my ultimate Drake song.

It is so bad that the song has actually grown on me and I find myself singing it every now and then.

Just playing around sir.

It is to be expected Lai will cover up for the APC government at the federal level wherever they gaffe or perform inadequately.

4 years is not enough to resolve corruption not to mention prosecute or recover loots.

4 years is not enough to fix economic, roads, gas, housing etc problems as bad as everything got after the last administration.

APC will use propaganda to 'achieve' most of its promises.

Lol. You are not serious.

We need to see something something tangible from them before they can have our votes in 2019.

Going by the calamity of a governor we have in Osun, I will never touch APC with the long pole. He can use propaganda to wake up the dead. Unfortunately, the citizens are educated but not exposed. They accept his propaganda hook line and sinker.

Looking at it the other way around, at least Fash, Amosun and Ajimobi are from the same party.

APC has a solid propaganda machine, those folks sabi lie and arouse emotion based loyalty from their supporters even in the face of obvious facts.

I've always thought party does not necessarily make good governance but individuals do. Awa ara Osun stupidly voted APC blindly without properly critiquing Aregbe as a viable person.

APC should forget Osun in the next election. While the Amosuns and the Fasholas were putting things to work, uncle Aregbe was making a porridge out of Osun while taking whiffs of his porridge from his helicopter he flies around the state.

Its all just propaganda. Nothing is happening in Ogun state as far as I know.
I think most people voted Amosun in in Ogun state because of what Fashola was doing in Lagos state.

Actually Amosun did hit the ground running in his first tenure. And then he slacked...

All those news of foreign investors is just news. Yet to see any of those fully on ground.

His first term was the beginning of downturn for Osun. Other than the road network and flower planting, dude did not do chit in his first term o.

Yea, I thought he was doing something in Ogun state too until I visited last year, and saw things for myself.
Example is the Ultramodern shopping Complex/mall proposed since 2012 or so. I remember it gained a lot of publicity, people were excited, was also excited. I even called Egba to ask my people about it.

The proposed site (that was formerly a government secretariat) for the complex has been vacated by the government offices since about a year now. The place has been partly demolished for over a year now and that's it. Nothing else is going on there.

Am sure dude will soon come up with another project idea again, gain publicity, people talk about it, and that's all. Nothing more after that. And the cycle continues like that.

I do say it to the faces of most of their party top echelon in the state whenever I am in the state.

Atimes they admit that they messed up. They always say Aregbe is stubborn and does not listen to others.

I can assure you that with 50bn Aregbe would have turned around the fortune of State, if he was sincere enough. He could have spread the repayment for 7-8years with a maximum monthly repayment of 600m. Effectively, he would have completed major projects and also have enough for salary payment and daily operational exigencies.

I did the analysis of 50bn for them and they had to agree with me that they messed up. With that amount, his impact on education, agriculture, health, tourism and infrastructure would have been forever.
