there are no good pairs and bad pairs. understanding each pair is all that matters. and also trading pairs with USD is what most people prefer.

In case you are wondering what Major currency pairs are, they are the currency pair with USD like Owli.ver rightly said. Other currencies without USD are called Crosses.
