This is a tutorial on how to expand the ram of your android devices in order to play heavy games without lags...
NOTE: ROOT IS REQUIRED!
Also, you need to check if the ram expander is compatible with your phone using memoryinfo & swap file check

Follow the steps below to configure the ram expander

Step 1: download and install rehosoft ram expander from www.androsurf.com

Step 2: open the ram expander, press the menu button on your phone and select SWAPDIR.

Step 3: You will see 4 different storage paths which you can choose one out of them to create a swap file.
Note: If you'd like to use your SD card path, make sure your SD card is nothing less than class 10, if not, it will lag the performances of your phone. But you can choose the phone storage path, it's always has great speed and it's the one I used in the video tutorial.

Step 4: Activate the ram expander and wait for it to finished creating the swap file.
Viola! Your ram has just been increased... You can increases it up-to 4gig depending on the storage space you have.

it's not fast enough... But You can still use your phone storage, just move some of the files in your phone storage to your memory card to free space for the swap file.

I tried it on phone storage the phone started lagging.. then I tried it on sd card and it became faster. my phone storage is very low(228mb).Do I need to remove some files from the sd card to increase the speed cos i have abt 2gb space in the sd card

That's not how it works. Regardless of the free space you have on your SD card, the speed of that memory is the only thing that matters first. If you are satisfied with the speed, and you think the performance is smooth enough, then you can proceed to increase the size of your ram to your taste. Note: you will need to delete the old swap file and then create new one by specifying the size of storage you want to use.

If the memoryinfo & swapfile check is installed on your phone successfully, and it showed you your memory and phone info, then you're good to go!

First attempt your memory card, and if it lags, then try your phone storage. But it will tell you the speed of the path you have chosen after creating the swap file... If it's 6mb/second and above, that should do...

the test work on my phone (Samsung S3) but the ram expander didn't work the reponse is license check failed please what can I do?
