Pls those in Bremen, I need somebody that will give me an info on how to rent accommodation within one week of arrival. I will be coming on Monday
Accommodation in Bremen is tough. Most people started from hostels. Look for a hostel first, then you can later begin to look for a permanent place. And hey be wary of Nigerians in Bremen, talking about the guys who have been here for long especially the guys who came through asylum. They offer to help and then dupe you. Some sudents got into there traps. They honestly do not care if you're their 'brother' Dont fall a victim. Nigerian students are safer to deal with. IMHO
Its just shameful the things some Nigerians do here, duping, selling drugs on the street etc. At that moment I just loose my pride of being a Nigerian embarassed

Hello everyone of this forum! The infos shared are invaluable. My inquiry is how possible is it to transfer to another university in Germany. What are its implications (if any), especially as a foreign student.
Danke

Thanks for your info, I already book for a stay in a hostel. Any idea on how to secure a permanent accommodation. Yes indeed some Nigerians dey fall hand oo, last time that I visited I met some of them in Berlin, the worst part of it is that police hardly arrest them, I ask a German why is it that police is not arresting them, he said that police is turning blind eye on them because of those that are addicted in taken drugs, so that they will not die, but use to raid them if their activities becomes unbearable.

I want to know if the blocked account and the 8,000 Euros deposit can be waived for a Master degree applicant (myself) if you have a sponsor residing in Germany in line with visa application.
Thank you very much as you provide me with information.

To tell you the truth I don't know but PM Scofield he will give you good ideas how to go about it.
I was on the open street infront of Afro Asian shop and I heard a Nigerian telling another one , oh boy you get coco? They were clustered there speaking our language. I was a ashamed for them. I didn't even act as if I am from the same place as them.
My dear friend was gisting with some Germans and they were telling him not to mix with his fellow country men from Nigeria. That they are known for selling drugs. That in Berlin there is a particular hard drug that only Nigerians have in their possession to sell.
And then when they visit Nigeria flaunting material things and we visit quietly because we make a honest living people will want to look down on us for not throwing money around. Its just so annoying.

Yes it will be waived, contact the person residing in Germany, let the person send a sponsorship letter to you from immigration office.

Yes, the person will go with originals, the photocopies and university application form

It's like that everywhere. Nor be today. This has been going on for decades. I still take pleasure in introducing myself as a Nigerian wherever and thank God, people do not judge me based on their experiences with or what they've heard about Nigerians.
Nigeria, just like every other country, has the good, and not so good. Our own can just fit too much sometimes. Visit other countries and you'll see Nigerians making the 1st page.

Not everyone who applies for study abroad do so because they already have the money, that's a limited perspective on how this whole thing works, I must confess to you.

Will the person not present your originals, the best thing is to go there by yourself and do it, if you can't why not do it at high court or notary public near to you. Doing it at the embassy will not add any special value to your application, it is the same value as doing it with the notary public or high court.

Hello bro, am grateful for your time. Please note that I personaly prefer to do it at the embassy basically because of the sentiments raised by sm1 up there that TUM rejected his docs.

I just wanted to know if its possible to do it at the embassy by proxy.

I hope other experienced guys in the house can also chip in their own bit.

Many thanks.

There is no guarantee, get your invitation letter and go and try your luck, your getting the visa depend on what transpired during your interview with the VO, if you convince the VO on the genuineness of your visit, you will get the visa.

i just did and it doesnt make sense to me that a person would not have at least $20-$40 to send applications if you gonna pay the application fee u might as well make sure your documents reach the school with the most reliable means. anyway common sense isnt so common, but thats none of my business.

Guy! I have applied to 4 schools already plus paying 50euro for uni kaiserslautern assessment fee.. Now tell me What's wrong in me asking if I could split for a 5th?
Plus I already have block account money and even have option of using sponsorship letter to apply cos I have my sibling o'er there that's working and earns more than the required amount.
I do not like throwing insults even if u deserve some so I have taken my time to explain you. I beg u to mind your biz bruf.

if you struggling with shipping fees shouldnt that tell you to stick to what wont break your bank? im not insulting anyone but it sounds silly that a person who would to share shipping fees and if the documents go missing once they get to the "contact" you would have wasted application fees all in a bid to save shipping fees... does that make any sense?

I do not agree with the contact thingy in Germany but Tay16, understand that sometimes people just do not have enough.

Even if you're Dangote's Son it still makes sense to try and cut cost if you can

People do that all the time one school website even suggested that multiple applicants can put their documents in separate smaller envelope and then package all in one Big envelope and send
All you need do is to make sure you write your details boldly in your own envelope
