You're simply killings your sd cards silently.....if you need a device with upto 4gb ram save up and buy

Everyone's experience won't be same with yours...the best way for a ram upgrade I'll be for you to get another phone....Your virtual ram can't simply perform some tasks with ease...it doesn't matter how long you've used it....Your memory card will eventually crash.

Yep, I think the only path you can use is your SD card. Choose it and press optimal value in the main page for the app to recommend for you settings that will work best on your device, then press active and let's see how it goes...

that means it's not going to work for you. WARNING: Don't go ahead and install the ram expander, it will brick your phone.

I'll simply advise you to uninstall it sharp sharp... Don't ignore the warning

You will need to test if your phone is compatible first by downloading the memory info and swipe file check.

I want to use my phone memory cos I may remove the SD card while the phone is still on. What do you think will happen if I remove the SD card while the phone is still on?

Try and use the "set path by hand" and see if you can locate your phone storage and choose a folder in it.

The one that has 'SD card1' is your phone storage, you can use that. You can as well use your memory card that has almost free 2gig space(if your SD card is above class 4), you can use the cache path too...

is there any cleaning app for Android on Play store? Besides, I have a lot of whatsapp messages and i want to how to back up them so i can save more storage for further use.

When you select SwapDir, it will take you to the paths, if you now select a path, it will tell you that you have chosen so so so as your swap dir, and take you back to the main page where you can start the app.
Try and watch the video, it's just 2mins or so. If you see anything different from what your phone is doing, that's a warning signal to simply remove the app.

Nice technique to increase RAM in Android phones.. But has anyone tried RAMEXPANDER? If yes, please post the results.

It will be better if people who have tried this method post their results.

I was advised to use my SD card, so I choose SD card path. I was having 4.5GB as free space in my SD card but after the swap, I only saw 1.5GB as free space. It said the speed of my SD card 21mb/s. If I decide to stop using the ram expander, how am I going to stop it, by deactivating it?

If you look at the swpfile on the main page, it's equals to 3000mb which is 3gig. This mean you extended your ram with 3gig. To revert this, deactivate the ram expander, press menu options and delete the old swap file. After it has been deleted, specify the mb storage you want to use by dragging back the swpfile on the main page. After you must have specified the size of your choice, press activate. That's it!

If your SD card now have like 3gig free space after you've activated this one in your screen shot, it has deleted it automatically. Nothing to worry about. If not, you will have to delete it with the steps I told you above. And should be in case your space is not freed yet, then you will have to locate the swap file manually and delete it in your file manager. The file is always named "swap file"
