All the ministers or just one minister? If each minister go home with that amount at the end of the year, then shame on all of us the youth of this country. We are fools 8 Likes |

Misleading headline. N485m is the figure all 36 ministers will earn. Each minister will get circa N13m per annum. I have friends that are not even senoor managers in their orgs earning that. Infact I think it is too low. A minister should earn at least the equivalent of $100,000 11 Likes |

Not surprised to see this, You know the problem of Nigeria is actually not corruption, because corruption is a child of a greater demon that is ruling mankind in general and that is selfishness and self centeredness. You can fight corruption all you want as they are currently claiming to be doing but if the heart of leaders are not changed towards the people they are leading, to serve then sincerely and not with preoccupied mind towards amassing wealth, then the whole fight would just be a scratch on the problem. Until our leaders tell themselves the gospel truth and sacrifice their selfish, greedy and insincere heart towards making money with any office position they hold, then we are not gonna make any headway in governance. Power is meant for service and not for wealth accumulation, but the reverse is the case in Nigeria and most countries in Africa as a whole and tomorrow they will have the guts to come on national tv and talk of fighting corruption and probing this and that. Thank God that it's as bad as this tho, it could have been worse you know. 1 Like 1 Share |
