He will definitely make heaven if he believes on the finished work of christ... Moreover, smoking a stick of cigarete doesnt make us sinners, stop looking at sin as an individual thing, sin came into our nature through one man (Adam) and the price of sin was paid in full by Jesus christ... Making heaven is based upon the believe of this sacrifice... |

englishmart: [b][/b]ghbnm Luke 3:1-15Amplified Bible (AMP) John the Baptist Preaches 3 Now in the fifteenth year of [Emperor] [a]Tiberius Caesar’s reign—when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, and Herod [Antipas] was tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip was tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene— 2 in the high [b]priesthood of Annas and [c]Caiaphas [his son-in-law], the word of God came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness. 3 And he went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sin; 4 as it is written and forever remains written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, “The voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, [d]Make His paths straight. 5 ‘Every ravine shall be filled up, And every mountain and hill shall be leveled; And the crooked [places] shall be made straight, And the rough roads smooth; 6 and [e]all mankind shall see the salvation of God.’” 7 So he began saying to the crowds who were coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of [f]vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath [of God that is] to come? 8 Therefore produce fruit that is worthy of [and consistent with your] repentance [that is, live changed lives, turn from sin and seek God and His righteousness]. And do not even begin to say to yourselves [as a defense], ‘We have Abraham for our father [and so our heritage assures us of salvation]’; for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children (descendants) for Abraham [for God can replace the unrepentant, regardless of their heritage, with those who are obedient]. 9 Even now the axe [of God’s judgment] is swinging toward the root of the trees; so every tree that does not produce good fruit is being cut down and thrown into the fire.” 10 The crowds asked him, “Then what are we to do?” 11 And John replied, “The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do the same.” 12 Even some tax collectors came to be baptized, and they asked, “Teacher, what are we to do?” 13 And he told them, “Collect no more than the fixed amount you have been ordered to [collect].” 14 Some soldiers asked him, “And what about us, what are we to do?” And he replied to them, “Do not [g]extort money from anyone or harass or blackmail anyone, and be satisfied with your wages. |

Joavid:one thing you have to understand, like 99 percent of the people who you think are serving God are really religious sycophants. do not be deceived by what you see people do in the light cuz you dont know what they do in the dark or their motivation for being religious. many peoples motivation for being religious is hoping to get money. so the real true genuine followers are very tiny and those tiny will be protected with all the might of the angels of God. like there are people who have angels watching over them 24 7. those few will not get cancer or car accident etc |

sukkot:I don't agree with you one bit. However, there are exceptions to everything in life and these exceptions are not limited to God's kingdom The duty of a soldier to be a custodian protecting the society from external attacks and aggression. However, soldiers are expected to kill enemies planning to kill the people they are meant to protect Personally, I believe a soldier can make heaven if he obeys God's words and doesn't torture or kill unjustly. Kindly ask yourself this question, if a thief wants to kill you and you are smart enough to kill him first, does that make you a candidate of hell ? |

An american snipper once said: "When I return to my creator finally, there are questions He shal ask me...but about the people I killed as a snipper, He shall not, because they are all evil" probably because allowing them live a minute longer would mean d death of thousands of innocent people. E.g a suicide bomber spotted among civillians trying to detonate an explosive... |

@ erelu Y a In displaying righteous anger, Jesus was like Jehovah, who is “disposed to rage” against all wickedness. (Nahum 1:2) For example, after Jehovah told his wayward people that they had made his house “a mere cave of robbers,” he said: “My anger and my rage are being poured forth upon this place.”—Jeremiah 7:11, 20. JESUS was visibly angry—and with good reason. You might find it difficult to imagine him that way, for he was such a mild-tempered man. (Matthew 21:5) He remained perfectly controlled, of course, for his was righteous wrath. But what had so provoked this peace-loving man? A case of gross injustice. |

Yes as long as he's born again and did not use his position to commit murder which is a crime. On duty he should stick to the ethics of his profession and existing rules of engagement. This applies to all security personnel who legally carry weapons. Luke 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages. |
