I am curious as to how points are awarded to sentence completion questions which have 2 or 3 gaps to fill in the verbal. Must you get all 2 or 3 gaps available to get the one point? Do u lose the one point if you get one of the 3 gaps wrong?

Tanx bro, I will have to visit JKK tomorrow, a friend said he paid in cash and dy reg for him... I jes hope they don't overcharge meanwhile I'll try to check with my bank call center...

The key is good comprehension and vocab skills, and knowing the question answering concepts.

It might happen. But. Don't count on it, you would be better prepared if you focus on practising enough questions, paying attention to the subletities in the answer choices, bringing the kind of critical thinking required to the table, and being wary of careless mistakes. All the best.

It's impossible because writers/makers of GRE preparation materials are not allowed to include past GRE questions. The best they can do is write their questions to mimic what GRE will prepare. ETS spends thousands of dollars annually creating GRE grade questions. So, they'll never lift questions from any of the prep companies neither will the test companies use past GRE questions. That's why you get to sign a confidentiality form whenever you take the GRE. You'll agree not to reveal any question you see to a third party. Albeit, GRE recycles questions.

Tip: if you ain't good with maths. start with barron, solve every question you see then move to the official GRE text. For verbal and writing us magoosh and the official GRE Text.
But personally learning all the vocab wldnt help. don't depend on it.
My experience : wroke at JKK in lagos, started with issue task, baba don write 15mins b4 I realise I mis-read the topic, sha rugged d remaining 15mins write sometin, argument task was cool tho., next Verbal, I never see verbal wey hard like ds b4. a lot harder than barron n magoosh (my opinion). study GRE frequent word list. na just 2 I see... guessed for most. twas hard. Quant : Quant was a lot cool. 1st was good. the 2nd was harder. guessed the ones that took time.
Prepare for the Quant well, am not rili a verbal person. but don't be scared if the questions comes hard. I sha dey do all dey go. VQVQV
Result : V- 147. Q-160. total 307.

Let me add this. just keep practising. that's the only way to prepare. the exam is long. so by the time u get to the 5th session. u will be tired. but if u spend long hours practising normally. shld not be a problem

Comrades, I need your opinion here. How do you handle the uncertainty of your test score with respect to sending it to your desired school? In essence, you have identified your desired schools but are not sure if you will meet their required scores on the test day. Do you go ahead and send irrespective of the score, or, do you before the day of the test make provision for alternative schools that accept average GRE scores, say 300-305?

Send the scores anyway. If you score above 300, your good to go. The worst that could happen is to rewrite the GRE.
