Can't you guys just let the SS and Niger delta people enjoy their thread.......I can't begin to think these are the people you want in your proposed Biafra.....you will surely destroy them if they ever mistakenly join your dead on arrival Biafra.... . |

Ugomba:na so we hear am o, the people self way dae shout our oil say igbos want our oil, tell them how they don't know, are igbos lacking oil? most of these jobless people talking dont have one drop of oil in there lans but I comes from offshore, by brothers from the east like claiming this silly big brother attitude and it always puts them in problem, they dont want to understand why even if a northerner slaps tinubu the yorubas instead of to face the north would turn against tinubu and say its his fault, its because of there interest, Ijaws have allies in the north the bargaining chip they use yo sustain those allies its the oil in there land. You easterners should wise up and stand only for urself not all this just because someone bears chukwu even if before now the person can swear and say he's not igbo but the moment they want to go for a higher post they would come to igbo land they wont tell u guys that they would give u road, or industries or bridges all they would be saying is my name is chukwu and am your brother, and some jobless youths without minding would carry the mans case on there head Gej was an example, I knew u people were gone when despite the fact that he did absolutely nothing for imo state he still won majority votes there. Get wise. 1 Like |

TonyeBarcanista: Taa! No Igbo here is seeking any alliance with Ijoids or Edoids. We are just saying that you land grabbers learn to stand on your own, stop eyeing Igbo speaking territories in the SS like hawks, go form your Ijaw- Edoid union, stop attaching Igboids to your union, nah by force? They left old Rivers state to escape Ijaw domination, Igbanke is seeking to rejoin Aniomas in Delta to avoid Edo domination, Anioma is seeking for Anioma state to escape the gang up they have been experiencing in the hands of the Edoids of Delta state and Ijaws there. Why then are you dragging them back into what they are running away from? Create another thread and name it Edoid- Ijaw commonwealth thread, go there and knock yourself out and see if any Igbo from SE will care. Stop your greed driven land grabbing. 9 Likes |

Una good afternoon o, well i must commend d op for a thread like this buh i think we should focus more on economic, political, cultural and ideological intigration «» i think we should have something like. a development/economic font a kind of ecowas for ss states HQ(Ed) in pH or warri were the diverse people of the ss can speak with a unified voice on issues of common goal, putting more pressure on the federal govt «» we can have our own mega city rivalling lagos through metro integration (something similar is being planned in china) forming a big city cluster through economic integration of port harcourt-yenegoa-ughelli-warri-sapele-benin city.the new city preferably named niger delta city would have designated areas for manufacturing, better housing, improved transportation(through renovation of airport facilities to int.standard ,rehabilation of roads nd possible railway link).a proper packaging would be required so such a project would be marketable for both local an int. Investors selling niger delta nd niger deltans to the world making it the new educational(7 unies),transport ndogistivs(3 int. airport, 4 sea port nd a brand new deap sea port @ warri)hubs nd a centre of xcellence for nigerian sports(9 existing stadiums) Hmmmm niger delta of my dreams |

Obiagu1: I tell you. Bunch of inferiority complex plaqued arrogant thieves, looking for hapless Igbo speaking groups to Lord over. See the kind of ordeal Igbanke is undergoing in Edo state, total forceful acculturation and assimilation by the Edo is going on there as we speak right now. Look at the type of ordeal that the Igboids in old Rivers passed through that made Ikwerre elders like Obi wali and Eze Rebisi to swallow their pride and came begging Zik in the name of Igbo unity for help, the kind of ruthless use of power Ijaws abused in Old rivers state was so bad that even Saro Wiwa, an Ogoni Started seeking for Ogoni only state, imagine renaming Obigbo with help of Gowon, if they were not barnishrd to Bayelsa and the control of Rivers state seized from them, they would have forcefully annexed Obigbo people and their lands, going by the trash they are spewing here. Look at how Ijaws hijacked the Niger delta struggle and relegated the Igboids and the rest. Edwin Clark making it clear that Niger delta is strictly an Ijaw struggle, as Ijaw went on to displace Odili, cornered the VP position to Yaradua and went on to corner more than 80% of the proceeds from Yaradua amnesty program, in a region where there are up to 50 other ethnic groups. We knew all these but decided to overlook them all for the sake of Eastern unity, but since these folks would not repent from their evil ways, it's time we call a spade a spade. Bunch of power hungry land and oil thieves, these Edoids and Ijaws are. 11 Likes 1 Share |

darfay: Some years back in PH, an economic conference was held for South South states and it was very revelling. The speakers spoke at length on the future. Rivers brought Greater PH, Akwa Ibom with her own I have forgotten, Cross River same even Edo and Delta were fully represented but when partisan politics came in, it killed the succession of that great event to review progress of their plans. This is where the South West beats us hands down. We must learn to bury partisan politics for regional interest. |
