Naturaly i am not a fan of house buying. i am gainfuly employed in abuja and my salary is 50k. i am 30 and plan to settle soon. i plan to build a temporary house a one bedroom self contain within an abuja slum precisely airport road. pls note slum setlement in abuja are prone to demolition anytime. it give low wage earner much advantages with include reduction in transportation cost and nearnest to the city centre but am in a fix cuz i also had a plan to build a permanent 2 bed house in suleja 40km from abuja city. i dont know which of these two option is best. should i go for long term house or short term house. pls am not also a fan of house rent. thank. |

Long term house is advisable cos it will allow you to undergo all the stress once and for all both in the traffic and know how to get to work on time unlike the short term house where in the end it will be destroyed and you will have to start all over again These are my reasons and if you digest it properly trust me you will see reasons. |

eghosajohnny:thank very much. what worry me was actualy the cost of transportation. imagine spending 1k every workin days from where my suleja plot is to my work place and there are 20 workin days in a month and that is 20k (40% my pay). i dont have a car. but it is mere 8k a month from d slum. |
