THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR Dr Kalu Ogbureke DCH(Lond), FRCPCH(UK) Consultant in Paediatric and Neonatal Medicine. Medical Director (Obijackson Children's Hospital) Dr Ogbureke qualified as a doctor from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1987 and undertook postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom. He obtained his Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) from there. In 2004, he was elevated to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Paediatrics (FRCPCH) in recognition of his attainment of high academic standards and contribution to the wellbeing of children in the UK. Dr Ogbureke has both international and national experience, having worked in various aspects of child health both as a clinician and manager. He has been the Chief Medical Director of Delta State University Teaching Hospital Oghara, and has also served as a project advisor for the Obijackson Children’s Hospital in Okija, Anambra State. 1 Like |

Lets stop deceiving ourselves.How many common men can afford to get sick in this private hospital? Now, can all these rag tag people flee this thread? The hospitals we all admire abroad do not come cheap as well. What matters is the quality of service the hospital has to render. What is wrong with having an upscale hospital around? Must we travel far to access everything in Nigeria? Yes, let rich people see where they will treat their children in Anambra and Nigeria at large. People that are not used to aesthetics are usually scared of being reminded they are poor.
