1). I don't know any schools would reject card payment they have already accepted and ask for cash payment, if there's nothing wrong with the payment except it is a charge back. How long did it take before they rejected the card payment?

A 2). You live in the UK but why is ya accountant in India? What do you need an accountant in a foreign country for if you don't run a big business cos I doubt a professional accountant in a next country would be interested in meagre $50 transactions? Even if you have a registered company for whatever contract job you do, the accountant you get for that only deals with ya taxes - not ya everyday spendings.

I think the both of you need to take this offline and resolve it amicably. You're adults and you were together for three years before this madness. That is a long time to have a proper strong bond, that is bigger than emotional fantasies.

I am not a lawyer and I am sure there are all manner of loopholes competent lawyers can exploit but just going by what I read on page 0 and the snippets I caught over the weekend, it's going to be tough sell that she was completely ignorant; when she became suspicious, why not go straight to the authorities? I know those yanks do not drag their feet on fraud like the Europeans do.

Secondly, that ignorance may get her a reduced sentence but I struggle to see it will completely get her off the hook. She's sure made a lot of mistakes but she needs to just take responsibility for her (ignorance or whatever) and move on with her life. Thos show on NL is going to do what exactly for her?
