Help With Infinix Zero 2 IMEI by visitamyu(m): 11:12pm On Nov 01, 2015
Hi Guys,
I was prompted to download an update (81MB) on my infinix zero2. This I did, but when I boot to recovery and attempt to install, it encountered an error. I then tried to wipe the phone and do a factory reset but to no avail. Then I realize my phone has been bricked!
I didn't do a backup of the ROM and since calcare wouldn't fix it instantly, so i decided to take it to an engineer who helped me flash a new ROM. I was in a hurry and didn't have much time to inspect the phone after the fix.
Problem now is, the IMEI of the two SIMs are THESAME and starts with 868969...... I have tried different means to change it but to no avail (i have used mtk engineering tool, rooting and droid tool on PC).
Kindly advice any other means I can use to change the IMEI back to the original pls...

Thanks.

If you are in a state where there is Calcare office. Go there, it will be fixed for free. Though I was able to finally resolve mine own my own.
I changed the IMEI using Chamelephon App (your phone must be ROOTED though).
