you cant study nursing directly in canada as an international student. Your best bet is to go for science course then cross over later. I.e BIOLOGY. Hope this helps. If u need more info let me know.

I thank God for His mercies. I finally got TRV at 3rd attempt in one year.

First Application April 2015 via online but Refused May 2015

Second Application June 2015 online Refused July 2015

3rd Application September 2015 online TRV November 2015.

Reasons for refusal were insufficient funds. I Was working with the proof of funds requirement on CIC website. My admission was for fall 2015.

I did not submit SOP nor police check in any of the applications.
Congrats bro. Your resilience finally paid off!

I don't know about other provinces but in Manitoba, international students are not accepted into their nursing program because they already have a 3 years waitlist of citizens and permanent residents.

Congrats to everybody getting their TRVs
As for me, its been 9 weeks and still no response. Even people that applied after me through paper route have gotten their response. This is getting disturbing. Is there anybody in the house that applied on the 15th of September, has done Medicals and still hasnt gotten a response?

Don't treat this as a gamble. Make sure you can justify to the VO whichever program you use to apply for your TRV. The burden of proof on you is of course higher if you are applying to a different course than your BSc, but it is not a big deal as long as you can sufficiently justify it to the VO. You can justify your chosen course through your BSc or work experience or any other undertaking that you can write about (with proof).

Several people on this thread (including yours truly) have explained over and over what is necessary to address to justify your purpose of visit. I would recommend you not rush to reapply so that you can read the thread. You could go through all my postings as I have addressed these issues dozens of times. Also go through the postings of people like @Team12 @Khalesi @ayooluwatoni @tnuola etc, or just read the whole of Part 7 or 8. At this point it sounds like you are not sure what you want to study and why. First think deeply about this before you rush to reapply.

Thanks so much for your response.

Guys i think getting admitted for M.A.Sc programme is generally difficult. This is a mail i got, pls note; the school does not require you to write any supervisor before applying

Good morning,

Your application documents have been assessed, and I am pleased to inform you that your application exceeds the minimum criteria for consideration of admission. Your file information will be forwarded to our Admissions Committee for review, and will be shared with the faculty members you have requested.

You are also encouraged to contact the faculty member(s) to explore the variety of research opportunities available and to discuss their willingness to sponsor your education and research program. Until a faculty member is ready to make an offer, your file remains in a holding file. Please note meeting or exceeding the minimum criteria for admission does not guarantee an offer to the ECE program. If a supervisor has not chosen to admit you to the program by April 30, 2016 your application will expire and will be closed. No further updates will be provided until a faculty supervisor chooses to offer you admission.

Pls house assist me, not sure the statement of intent i used when applying is good enough because i didnt really specify the topics of projects i will like to do, i only specify my area of research interest eg.. communication system. i didnt specify specific projects topics.

Pls assist

Why the lies? which of your stories should we believe @yemology. I took time to go through your series of posts and noticed some inconsistencies. Firstly, you wrote and I quote: Hello everyone pls am new here anyway I got admission to fanshawe college and I submitted since 22nd sep Uptil now didnot hear from them. Hope nothing am getting scared. And my 2 sisters got their medicals mail already which I submitted before them pls l need advice. Are they considering university before college pls help oooo". your sisters recieved their medical call on October 28. And then and then on november 9th he writes this:
"Hello God is at work my sister got her visa today without medical mail, no upfront medical with virgin passport. The only mail gotten is ur document has been dispatched thinking she was denied but God did it am having hope on my God show ur self. Pls did it mean she will do medical when she get to canada." Today now today he posts this:
"Hello house my two siblings got there TRV approved without medical approved I wonder what is happng but I believe God is at work. Infact embassy send them congratulatory letters and sent them document for entry. Is well". Please what should one believe. You seem to be lying and misleading the forum of getting Trv without medical.
hello take ur time and read all my post we are 3 in no ok I was the only one that was refused anywy maybe typing error is only one without medical the other one did medical ok pls read well

Welcome,my professional colleague! Pls, don't be deceived because there's no uni in Canada that does 1yr BSc.Nursing except in d UK...unless u're going for a PGDiploma(speciality). From experience... Nonetheless, change is constant; keep trying...good luck!

My Sch- UoM does, UoS does, UoNB does, and I know ppl in d mentioned schools.. That whoever u know didn't get in doesn't mean what u stated is a FACT, that's why I queried ur source. Pls don't discourage ppl. It's more difficult to get into a Masters Prog in Nursing as an intl student than it is for an undergrad prog cuz most unis require u to b licensed to practice for the former, but not for the BSN prog cuz they all get into pre-nursing first which is not hard to get into.

Theres no uni in Canada that does 1yr BNsc dear.. I hate to burst ur bubbles but Nursing in Canada isn't how it's painted to be outside. Ur best bet is to do a PGD, get licensed as a practical nurse and then, do an LPN-BSN bridging Prog 2 get a degree, Masters can then come in afterwards. All d best.
