If you are on ground in naija you wont say this, i take and share pictures of these miscreants in action someday.

Those touts hold their meeting every Tuesday immensed in smoke from indian hemp at the back of a primary school in my old neighborhood, they end their meetings with sporadic gunshots while kids are in their classrooms

But this is because they have lost their way. OPC was useful during OBJ's time.

I think you are underestimating terrorism. Any tribe of group of people can be brainwashed

Did you hear that the female suicide bomber in France till like a few months ago used to be the average European girl having sexx, going to clubs, listening to hip-hop and suddenly something triggered extremism in her

When I was in university I saw the impact of radicalisation. A young moslem girl was admitted, innocent 18yr old within a few months she got involved with a radical guy and he married her without the parents knowledge and camped her in school, she refused to go back home and was even missing lectures. Her parents came to school to look for her and found her holed up in the Mosque, when they attempted to take her away, the guys attacked the parents saying the are trying to take the girl away from the path of light.

The mom was crying at Awo Hall until Awo boys got wind of the story stormed the mosque and beat up everyone there. They found some weapons in the mosque.

the political leaders of the day should continue to monitor/mentor their activism until such a time they will be ripe to be brought to bare in some formal role within the SW and that endless leadership scuffle btw adams/faseun should be done and getting rid off pls.

Perhaps then the majority of the public can give them a broad base support and recognition.

You're misinterpreting OUT-OF-STATE fees for SLAVERY.

No one is going to restrict your movement from one state to another.

In the states, you're allowed to move around and once you've settled in a state for at least 4 years [for undergrad] you're a resident, and 1.5years [for grad school].

For out-of-state to work, we need to implement the system of residency [the clauses].

300% may be too much [it's for the school to decide, not the state]. Of course Wike will give up because he's standing alone.

He was too hasty with his implementation. This should have been discussed within the education system committee [if Nigeria has one] and the government.

I said the political leadership should be aligned with the military wing. In Nigeria today, that alignment is necessary.

I never suggested that the OPC should start bombing places or killing people. Even though there is peace in Northern Ireland, has the IRA been disbanded? It exists to still provide a balance even if they are in the shadows.

Another story.

It was an OAU agelong tradition from the 70's for Boys to gather in Awo Hall on Friday night to watch P0rn. And when you're leaving the TV room, there is a "No-pocketing" rule meaning you cant use your hand to hide your b0ner.

From my first Friday in Ife I joined and our "onile" was a legendary Pharmacy student "Victor-Mojo"

After I left, i heard a group of Moslem students who had armed themselves attacked the Awo TV room after their nightly mojo series saying it was immoral to watch Mojo

it became a very serious fight and the school was shut down

At a stadium in Turkey last Tuesday during the 1minute silence for the Paris victims, the whole stadium was whistling, booing and shouting Allahu-Akbar. Turks are seen to be moderate moslems like Yoruba counterparts. That shows there is a quiet majority somewhere who support the action of these terrorists

All it needs is an excuse to start problems. And the excuse can be anything

What has quota system got to do with levying higher fees on out of state students. Surely the fees apply only to the Institutions that Rivers state runs and not University of Port Harcourt which is owned by the Fed Government.

If Rivers invests a significant percentage of its budget on Education, why should students from Bayelsea flood into Rivers at the expense of students from Rivers? If you are from Bayelsa and you want to go to school in Rivers, then be prepared to pay higher fees.

I didnt know her name but it was around 2000. I knew a lot was going on in that Awo mosque I know a lot of girls and guys come to school and they become redicalized

One guy in Seun Osewa's class Lateef an extremely brilliant boy. When he came in yr 1 was just a normal Moz(female hostel) visiting Oshomo boy. In yr 1 Lateef had over 4point GPA.

By yr 3, Lateef has become radicalized, he doesnt go to class regularly, His trousers are jumping. he started failing but believes he was doing Allah's wish
One day after lectures I remember Seun an ECU born again who barely talks to anyone and lateef were arguing seriously in white house both getting agitated I was just laughing

fair enough but in the eyes of the irish law, IRA is an illegal group and people get sent to jail if you are found to be a member but . . . . . .i just kinda get weary if groups spring up with guns especially outside the proviso of the constitution of any country, most especially a country like nigerian! where there is a silent army of people ready to explore our national fault lines and do maximum damage to her.

i hope some how sometime soon, once we get all this economic benefits trickling down to every corner of the country, this continuous agitation for everything and anything might just die down and folks goan to enjoy the lives, services, infrastructure and the society as a whole . . . .

It is high time, everyone goes to develop their states and stop flooding into any state that is making progress. Let all citizens go and attack their reps and governors and demand accountability instead of protesting in another state. When Nigerians start demanding accountability from their LG because they are discriminated against in another LG, then Nigeria will start making progress.

i certainly agree with you bruh, what many of us perhaps shy away from or tend not to accept is that their is an "unwritten systemic script" to oust other tribes out from nigerian football . . . .what am not sure of is? if this is deliberate or not or perhaps an oversight from other tribes not desiring to be too participatory which i sincerely doubt.

if present day football administrators continue to promote some folks over another, they are more or less creating a mindset that good footballing can only come from x part of the country which we all know ain't true . . . . . .but again if a certain group have a dominant role in the playing career of this football teams, it's only goes to say future coaches, technical crew and administrators would again be chosen from this subset and thereby maintaining a jugular hold on football affairs, be able to determine selection, exit and entry criteria and of cos brand recognitions . . . . and some will even build a family dynasty/brand out of this, after all x brother played well so his sibling y should do us proud as well . . . . . . in some clime they call it institutional races and perhaps we might look for a name for this budding trend sooner than later . . . . hahaha

The state/federal government has the right [or should] impose tuition prices.....private school is another matter.

If 300% is their demand, then so it shall be. If out of state public school is too high, stay in state. If public school is too costly, go to a private school. If either one is too much, start a business idea or go back to the farm.

You're right, it won't happen now, because the system [foundation] for such process has not been laid down.

Wike [with the right intention] is implementing a system that requires 10 men by himself.

Out-Of-State tuition is actually a great idea....... if Rivers want 300%, that's River's choice.
