Return To Igboland Now – MASSOB Tells Ndigbo by elixirnigeria: 5:14pm On Nov 21, 2015 |
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has decried what it described as the nonchalant attitude and insensitivity of many Igbo people residing in northern and western parts of the country. The National Director of Information, MASSOB, Mr. Uchenna Madu, advised Ndigbo residing outside Igboland to start returning back to their home land, re-establish their business and investment back to Igboland. “We have decided and promise to provide adequate security of lives and properties in Igboland . MASSOB shall defend Igboland with our blood, valor and enthusiasm. It is our unflinching service to our father land. MASSOB has vowed to root away kidnapping, armed robbery and other criminal tendencies in Igboland because there is no place in Nigeria like Igboland. “MASSOB wishes to salute the courageous spirit and vision of these Igbo sons who proved their total love for development and industrialization of Igboland. Men who understand that charity and goodness of a real Igbo-man begin from home land. These men include chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) proprietor of Rojenny Tourist Games village Oba, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Nnewi, Chief Daniel Chukwudozie (Akudo of Okija) CEO of Dozzy group of companies Onitsha, Chief Dr. Alexander Chika Okafor (OON) Executive Chairman of Chicason Group of Companies Nnewi, Chief Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto, Chairman of Ibeto Groups of Companies Nnewi, Chief Chidume Oranu, GMD Krisoral Group of companies Onitsha and several others. “Nigeria is a state where others are first class citizens but treat the Igbo as second class citizen, a state where others are born to rule but treat Igbos as perpetual outcasts, a state where state policies deliberately denies Igboland critical developmental infrastructure. Nigeria has vowed to continue to be a state where prejudice, tribalism, exclusion and hate are elevated while nation building is ignored, a state where it seem the only logic for unity is to share oil resources and not on the basis of consent, mutual respect, fraternity and shared brotherhood. Rubbish. You want to lure intelligent, hardworking and prominent citizens of Igboland into your useless agitation. Every tout in igboland wants to talk about biafra. Yes, we appreciate igbos investing in igboland and we also appreciate igbos in diaspora. Reasonable Igbos are making serious impact in other people's land, buying properties, investments, and most importantly getting appointments and winning elections in another man's land like Hon. Tony Nwulu representing Oshodi/Isolo Fed. Constituency, Barrister Rita Odichinma Orji representing Ajeromi/Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Hon. Jude Idimogu, representing Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly etc.. We have men and women that have good investment in yoruba and hausa land to accomodate and employ igbo youths and graduates in those regions. Ndigbo bu odogwu. Stop thinking like a fool and reason like a typical Igbo man. All igbos will not reside in Igboland, we go to other regions to earn our living, exchange ideas with other tribes because igboland is not an Island. Someday, you will tell igbos not to marry or divorce their wives from other tribes or you ask businessmen/traders not to sell their goods to other tribes. I am really ashamed of your utterances. This is how you MASSOB and IPOB people go about enriching yourselves from fellow Igbo men (uneducated, poor, artisans, okada and keke riders) in the name Biafra. God of Igboland will punish you for all these extortion of our poor brothers and death of poor, innocent and ignorant youths. Have you forgotten how your members were killed by Peter Obi when the government of Anambra state found out that all your members were the main thieves, touts and kidnappers in Anambra state? We are watching you people again and any attempt to disturb our peace will be met with total elimination of your members nationwide. We have vowed to protect igboland 14 Likes 2 Shares

Let the return begin. With hearts burning with hope and desire let them all march towards the land of the rising sun. Then all will awake tomorrow, look into each others eyes and ask, "what next?". The homebased will look at the returnee and say, "wetin you bring come?". The returnee will look at the homebased and reply, "what have you prepared for me?". A long silence... That's when the propaganda will die. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Funny people. Although I look at them as not being really serious about it because telling ibos to return to Biafra is the first they out to have told themselves. They are also supposed to themselves not to take anything along because they are deporting themselves. Deportees don't return with anything. Now let's see either they have the supports of ibos or not. But sincerely, Biafra is destined to fail because ibos, especially the ones in south west can't abandon everything they have and now go home. |

Asking all Igbos to return to the east makes no sense. I support the call for us do more to develope the east by establishing businesses there to create employment. I also call on the FG to create pilicies that would help the east. We need a functioning seaport in the east. This is one of the major reasons I am still angry with Jonathan, I still cannot understand why Ibaka seaport at Akwa Ibom was not built after spending 5yrs in power. |

If he no borrow money, you'll say he is diverting oyel money to rebuild north. By the way, Buhari has only been there for 6 mouths. Wait till end of the four years. 2 Likes |

Why does Igbos foolishly go to other pples land to invest? I have never seen an hausa man or yoruba investing on landed property in the SE, yet dis mofos are the ones who scream one Nigeria the most. Numerous time Igbos have been senselessly massacred and the hard earn properties destroyed in the North, but yet Igbos know dey learn. The only safe place for an Igbo man in Nigeria is in the SE. If Yorubas and hausas don't invest in the SE, then why should an Igbo invest in SW or North? As an Igbo man your investment are safer outside Nigeria than in the North or SW . 1 Like |

4giveand4get: Nice write up bro...later they will say they are treated like 3rd class citizens in Nigeria. Yet, they represent constituencies in other states that are not Igbo states. How many Yoruba or Hausa's are political representatives in Igbo land? God knows that it's d lazy, primitive and greedy igbos that are agitating. You won't go out, u just sit in ur village from morning to night drinking palmwine, and u are angry that Nigeria isn't favouring you, claiming they're treating u like 7th class citizen. Continue....I'm certain all the Igbo friends I have that are making a living by moving around and doing things do not share your bias and selfish opinions. Most of the thugs agitating are living in poverty, and they wanna drag the rest onto it. |

wisdomguy4u: What u should ask urself is why yorubas, Hausas, and even ur fellow Igbo men don't invest in ur region. If u want to be logical, u should be asking questions on what is wrong with ur people or land. Why is it that investors don't find ur region attractive...rather than come here and start hating other tribes because of that. 6 Likes 1 Share |
