If you are thinking of dssc please av a rethink, now dssc are made to convert to DRC, and the new laws states that only 20% of a course can be converted, so if course 22 in the army are 200 in number, only 40 will be allowed to server more dan 15yrs. And if you are not converted after 15yrs you go home. Even if you are converted, you can't go beyond major/squadron leader/lieutenant commander in the Army, Airforce & Navy respectively. So if you join para-military self e beta, becoz if no offence, your 35yrs if age on ur side is sure. I don tire for naija, say i no go NDA and want to serve, i can't do dat again.

Visited an optemetrist twice, yet no improvement; as a child, I had a deep cut on my buttock which was stitched. I hope it won't affect my medicals? After serving and working with the Nigerian Army for a year plus, i developed a profound passion for the job. No other force appealed to me except the army. So when the Navy DSSC form came out earlier this year, i didnt even consider picking it (this was partly because i graduated with a 2.2) because, to me, it was army or nothing.

However, i have been following up the updates on this thread ever since because am pretty sure that the navy and army would have similar screening exercises. And just as i expected, i have been truly edified.

Congrats to those who got shortlisted to go to Onne. i pray God endows you all with super-human strength, intelligence and boldness. Above all, i pray you make the final list
