This case got messed up by the people who were calling for evidence. It was a simple word for/against word. But some guys provoked those working for Babe3 offline to submit evidence here (online).

Now the evidence is out, some of them are saying nairaland is not a law court. That it should be taken off here. Why on earth did they call for evidence in the first place? They are the reason things got so exposed to the public.

Hmmm now I see. But this is a serious issue. But you know reporting scam goes with providing evidence. Meanwhile gathering evidence requires time, logistics and money. Who will bear that cost? Nairaland? Does seun even have the time?

This are what we put into consideration.

I think the best the site can do is block off the scammer. Most often reporting the scam to the authorities will be done by the victim his/herself.

In this particular case, babe was just lucky that a group of peeps have been getting reports and tracking coogs. She is lucky she spoke up at the right time. That is why these people decided to take up the case and spent their own money to peg the criminal.

So reporting scammers to the authorities is extra cost and time. Nairaland can do it if seun sets aside the funds.

In all the writings up and down, I have not been able to establish INTENTION to commit fraud against Babe3. In her case intention behind her actions is what the authorities will be looking at.

No one becomes a fraudster by mere coincidence. There is usually a trail and intention to defraud. If everything she had to do with this case is all about recovery her school fees back she will not be going down.

- Elampiro owes BinghiNya some money.

- BinghiNya calls for his legal money to be paid back by elampiro.

- elampiro sends BinghiNya a card and says take your money from here. BigninNya discovers the card is not funded. He cries out.

- elampiro sends another card to BinghiNya. Same story. BigninNya is still desperate to recover his legal money.

- elampiro sends another card. Then BigninNya becomes even afraid being that the cards are becoming too numerous and being a matter of trial and error to see if there is fund in them.

How does the above make BinghiNya a fraudster? Moreover if BigninNya is a fraudster he wouldn't be desperate to collect just $4,000 when he can hang around elampiro to eat free money running into hundreds of thousands dollars in the future. Again, BinghiNya is just reaching 18 years of age which means before now his faculties were not fully developed to understand some complications of life. Now that BigninNya has his faculties developed he can recognised and analyzed certain actions and their consequences, and he's now more aware of the risk surrounding his actions. So he is ready to blow the whistle.

What am I saying? Babe3 case is very light and it's further mitigated by a lot of things. In fact except she did some things which we were not told here, she is not going down. My fear is she may have been involved in other things not connected to recovering her school fees.

In law there's something called 'locus standi' all of us here do not have the locus standi to do anything about it, most especially because it doesn't concern us... The person who should do anything or something about it is the person involved not anybody else.

The scam or crime or whatever it is happened outside Nigeria, as both of them live outside the country. The girl should go to the U.K authorities and seek redress not come on Nairaland and post comments.

Those of you shouting and calling coogar a scammer, how many yahoo yahoo boys do you know? Have you reported them to the police?, how many fraudstars do you know? Have you reported them to the police? how many of you who are being owed salaries actually go to the appropriate authority to report? Yet you come online and post postings without proper listings that lacks sense.

I mean, why do we Nigerians who live in Nigeria, JUST LIKE TO DEY DRINK PANADOL FOR ANOTHER MAN HEADACHE
