I worked for my Anty in the construction of the school 7years ago. The school is damn expensive and there was a rumor then that OBJ is the owner of the school but no confirmation .

Late Tayo Adenirokun owns the school. His wife manages it now. It's a good school.

You have to look at it from another angle which is taking your kids to stay in the U.S alone while you stay in Nigeria making money. It doesn't make any sense to them. So paying for an American school in Nigeria is what the elite want. They school their children right here in Nigeria the American way. They make their money, they do not have to start joggling btw the U.S and Nigeria because of the kids, ati bebelo. So many reasons. Take your pick. So it is viable.

I teach Maths in one of those schools and trust me,if u av the means, u won't regret it. No wonder state champions from cowbell maths,NMC and many oda competitions come from those schools.
However, academic excellence largely depends on individual. That is why some students from all those small schools win competitions and prizes beating those big schools representatives. But how many? Few!
Why? Because teachers in small schls are not well motivated. Without it,there is no drive to impact very effectively. That is where the difference comes from.
Now for those saying why not send dem abroad. Well there is a point in that..but many parents want their child or ward to finish at least secondary school here for some personal reasons. Some want their children to learn basic custom,morals and values which the fear is missing in western society. There is sense in dat..especially now that homo,transgender,misplaced values, etc are d bane of oyinbos society.

Pay 2-4m per annum for tuition fees in highschool. I rather choose a less expensive private school while I save that amt for my kids to attend Universities abroad. U'll Invest about 15m in secondary school alone per child, only for him to graduate and hustle for a job of mere 150/200k tops. When youcud have sent him to study abroad and then he cud work there and earn better #well choices differ tho

Bell school isn't so expensive! Within that axis, corona leads. I know coz I schooled around that area and my fees were high too but not as high as 2m

I didn't go to any of these but still that expensive Murtala Muhammed Airport School opposite MMA2...yes my parents were paying a huge sum then but it worth every cent...we were groomed like day old chicks till we became strong chickens ready to compete...highly gifted teachers from all corners of the world...a mix of students from nations that's why i can today live with any nationality...QUALITY OVER QUANTITY my dad would say before coughing out the change
