My Brother, His pension account can only serve has additional documents.. the fund available for you is from that 5m...if he has other landed properties or other thing that brings income to him then fine....What the VOs want to see is that he is ready and more than capable to support you
without bringing any inconveniences to himself and his family.

Khalesi:

Your major setback was the POF. From what you listed here, $13k school fees+$14k draft and N2m closing balance all sum up to about N6.5m. That's way too small for you and your girl. I applied with my daughter too. And we had nothing less than N18m. You need to boost yours. These VOs know that child care in Canny no be moin-moin. Day care alone per day will cost nothing less than $40/day, not to talk of housing suitable for a child. I know how many cheap apartments I've tried to engage landlords for, only to be told that they're not child friendly. So here's your task; make another budget with minimum monthly rent of $750, day care minimum monthly cost of $900, then feeding, clothing and miscellaneous at a rate by your discretion. Put your entire budget in a spreadsheet, each cost with associated CAD and Naira equivalent and the total fund available. You should be having funds exceeding your projected budget.

What program are you going for and what's the duration.

thanks, pls can u list the documents you submitted.

Well, you not the only one in this. Submitted my app, online route, oct 6th, medical passed, still awaiting the final response, and so many other guys I know as well, all waiting. So, if yours is 19th or 20th, just keep the faith rolling. Surely, we all would get a positive call soonest. Hopefully, this week. Just keep the tension low, and hope for the best. Success!!!

i applied on 19th oct and i got my medical passed update last friday which was 20th of this month.

Truth is people get pissed if they see questions that have been answered more than once in the past. It is really difficult to tell which is faster. We've had people who got their trv within 4 weeks by paper route and those within 3 weeks by online route. Likewise we had cases of 2 to 6 months for both paper and online. So it's up to you. But my candid advice, if you dont have access to scanner or cant scan or merge documents properly, pls do paper, else do online.
All the best

Naira value has been fluctuating in the last few months. Just close eyes and pay the money.....but I think Diamond's charges is kinda friendly. Budget 180naira to a dollar, it of course can't be up to that anyway.

Most schools in Ca waive English Test exams for Naija Applicants, but you'll need to proof your proficiency in English Language. All you'll need do is get a Proof of Proficiency In English Language Letter from your school (Undergrad). But don't forget I said most schools.....some schools still insist you do English exams
