I was unable to update my infinix hot 2 OTA, I downloaded the update to TF Card, but the device refused to boot in recovery mode to enable me install the update.

If you cannot boot into recovery then the only option is to flash through a system

I rooted the phone before install the OTA update....but is shows "error" instead of "successful" when I went to check at the settings I saw that my device is upto date, meaning that the update I tried to install was sucessful but it shows error, checking apps in the menu still no GALLERY and File Manager. Pls help

you aint entitle to update since you rooted the phone, the only solution is for you to flash the STOCK ROM manually from infinix website

Please how well does the battery of this hot 2 fair? i know its a 2200 mah battery. How long can it run if it were on 3g and constantly pressed.

There is no bug fix in d update just some unwanted apps are installed.

it comes with lollipop, until you root and install xposed,you can't do anything about it.

No, it can never install on rooted phone. The OTA will appear on a latter time, maybe not immediately. Mind you, you won't be able to install any update until you reflash your phone

Go to your settings.. Sound and notification then notification when device is locked and choose don't show notifications at all or hide sensitive notification content .. That's all

Please I just noticed that the option to choose a particular sim for calls disappeared on my phone. I have gone to settings but I have to always go back each time I want to make a call to change it. Is there anyway to get back the initial one that asks for the sim to use before placing a call? I don't understand what happened.

You are resettinng your phone to default OS that comes with the phone , you can download the guide on infinixmobility.com by clicking on support
