The Igbo Conscience (TIC)


The Igbo Conscience (TIC), led by Barrister Monday Ubani, a former Chairman of the Ikeja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, has dismissed the clamour for Biafra, asserting that the Igbo are better off in Nigeria.

“While it is possible for any Yoruba man or woman from any state in the South West to serve in any capacity in Lagos it is extremely
difficult if not impossible for an Igbo from one Igbo state to work in another Igbo state.”

TIC blamed the Biafra clamour on some “economic refugees” living in Europe and America who engage in it as a way of mitigating the harsh economic realities in Nigeria.

It's statements like this that makes me wonder how people think. Sometimes I just pity some Igbo folks because the love of money has really blinded their sense of reasoning. Their attitude towards the election hasn't really taught anyone anything, no wonder Ojukwu wept when he entered ASPAMDA, this is the reason why ignorant people will keep shouting Lagos is no mans land. When you've developed another mans land with your asset, why wouldn't it be a no mans land?

Many people are so ignorant that I wonder what kind of brain they have. So you're more worried about assets in another man's land than you're more worried about the welfare of your kind? I just wish Nnamdi Kanu will quit this agitation so that when the real ish burst and your "assets" are threatened, I dare you to raise your voice.
