When a woman starts talking about love and
saying it is not about money, I get pissed off. I
do not completely lose my head — I just get a
little terse. Since when did it cease to be about
money?

If it is not about money, why do loaded guys
have more access to women than some of us?
Only a guy who has not suffered at the hands of
the wealthy in his interactions with the
daughters of men can afford to believe such
adamant falsities.

I also used to believe the women and their
claims of ‘it’ not being about money until
recently, when my cousin sat me down and told
me the truth. He told me how important it is for
a man to have money if he is to succeed in
sweeping women off their feet.

“Zak, my brother, once you have the cash,
women will force their hearts to love you. Let us
be real, just get money and see whether those
daughters of Eve, as you love to call them, will
not wrestle to have a piece of you.”

“Where there is money, women gather. And,
seek ye the kingdom of money fi rst and all
those other things like women will be added
unto you,” he quickly added.
When I thought about it, I realised that a woman
who claims love is not about money, is usually
the same who harbours dreams of hooking up
with a guy who can take her to the grandest of
beaches, exotic hotels and spoil her with the
nicest gifts.

And when I dug deeper, I realised that for the
few years that I have been living on this planet, I have never come across a woman whose dream
husband is the kind who is perpetually broke; or
the kind who will marry her and take her to
some remote village to live as husband and wife
in a manyatta.

So, I’m no longer going to entertain the notion
that love is not about money.
In fact, I also think it is a ploy some women use
to hoodwink us into thinking that they will have
mercy on our pockets when we hook up with
them. But trust me, the day you start believing
those women, they will drain your pockets and
in such a subtle way that you will not notice that
the havoc in your pocket is caused by their
insatiable souls.

That is why I pity men who believe them and
have now resorted to using sweet nothings to
fuel their love, yet if they had a little more
money, it would add some fi re in the mix. No
problem, you can continue fuelling your love
with sweet words and empty promises.

But as for me and myself, we shall continue
hunting for the cash and just when you run out
of promises, we who have been making cash
shall deliver the goodies and carry away the
prize. In that vein, as a young man that looks
beyond the horizon,
I have started preparing for the future. I know
that issues to do with women and their lifestyle
will cost a lot more dime in the future.
But even then, there will still be some of them
claiming that it is not about money. So the
earlier I learn to ignore their unfounded claims
and come to terms with reality, the better.

So, later when your woman begins chasing after
my cash because you, the man in her life, is too
broke for life, please do not say I never warned
you.

I have said it countless times. there is no such thing as love.. relationships are give and take. its all about what you bring to the table. am not totally against girls who want rich guys no am not thats why i have stayed away from relationships for now. i cant afford to put myself in an awkward situation again. make money and have your way. it make life easier.

Money is important.... but if you believe women are all about money and not about love you would never have a woman you can call your own. The ones you attract with cash would use you as a stepping stone to move on up to another with more cash. No doubt...you would always have women flocking you....all gold diggers.
