You wonder why Aregbesola changed the slogan of my beloved state of Osun from "The state of the Living spring" to one yeye "Land of virtue". The former slogan tends to promote our traditional religion and gods at the expense of imported religions...

That to me is intolerance of the highest order. Aregbe should be advised to appease the gods and goddesses of the land and revert to the old slogan with immediate effect, for sanity and prosperity to return back to the state.

They can even for a world class team that can on any of the FIFA highly ranked teams any time any day.

Lol....this' a new twist to what's been peddled before as per Aregbe changing the state slogan...not a few people believed 'state of the living spring is CHRISTIAN' (Apparently Jesus, in Christianity, is referred to as the living spring.) and that changing it to 'state of virtue ' is giving credence to traditional believe/religion (coupled with changing the state's emblem to if a cowry, and ori omoolokun ).

I wanted to overlook John Fashanu for the best eleven ever but after I went through his profile I discovered he is a very good player to have scored up to 100 goals in the Premier League. He is in for the selection.
John salako records is not that impressive to me but the dude is Crystal Palace first team coach.

Why the hate?? There are certain things that parishioners discuss with their pastors or vicars, in confidence. To repeat it, would create a breach of trust and confidentiality, especially when the other party has not given permission for disclosure. It is a lot like 'doctor-patient' confidentiality.

In christian circles, it is easy to deduce what kind of conversation Pastor Adeboye probably had with the late Mama HID Awolowo. She wanted to become 'born-again', or needed an assurance of God's salvation, in order to be able to cross through the portals of eternity, with peace of mind. She must have felt the end was near, and wanted to prepare her mind, for the great beyond.

He must have led her in prayers and confession of sins, so that she could feel some reassurance about her relationship with God. Well, these are just my own thoughts. The relationship between man and God is an intensely personal one. It cannot be lived through others. However, a spiritual leader can help guide a person along the spiritual path.

I believe he was just being biblical. Every sane mind who's highly educated knows that there's no heaven or hell - if anything, both exist on this planet. The good and bad times.

Heaven and hell were just created to scare folks to embrace religion during the medieval ages. However, there might be afterlife cos all ancient cultures did allude to that and that has absolutely nothing to do with judgement day or the biblical heaven and hell.

There's no "good" or "bad" in life - everything just depends on ya mentality and what governs ya conscience. Let's leave religious folks alone to do their thing. If religion guides them to be righteous and embrace humanity, who are we to critique their choice? It's all about loving humanity.

I'm not an atheist - I do believe in the most high, supreme being, and the maker. But I believe we all should just allow everyone do whatever they want to do, if enhancing humanity is the nucleus of their beliefs.

And the man of God is not using any power to determine who gets to heaven, he was just using the criteria set out in the Scriptures (which any individual must obey in order to make heaven), to arrive at a conclusion about the person's destination.
