What do you think about the inner voice you hear and intuition?

Don't you think something is responsible for that?

We all know the sun created the solar system but do you think a big bang created humanity?

Don't let biblical tales disconnect you from the most high...there's supreme being that guides the consciousness of humanity, but we as black people are just disconnected from it.

I'm Atheist.

I only used the hypothesis to buttress a point. I have always doubted God's existence, even as a kid. Well, I grew from being agnostic to a type of Agnosticism that borders on Atheism...and now to a complete Atheist.

How I became an Atheist? Oro po ninu iwe kobo.

I'll tell that some other time.

I always like knowing why Nigerians are atheists.....they're rare gems.

Quote/mention me when you want to tak about it [be it on this thread or the religion section].

Jaiye jaiye - enjoy life while you can, it's short.

At least, that's what I try to do and I spoil myself all the time with the best things I can get cos no one's promised tomorrow.

When you've cheated death a few times like I've, you'll never take life seriously cos future is an illusion.

Just work hard/smart, enjoy life, pray, do what you think is best, help those you can help, and invest for the dry season. grin

Datsall.

My only reservation with the late Tupac Amaru Shakur was his deep belief in God. Damn, that Nigger acknowledged God a great deal in his songs, poetry and interviews.

And now you, Shymmex.

Inner voice and intuition? The inner voices you hear are nothing but your innermost thoughts that come to you as voices from others. Your intuitive capabilities and dispositions have been ingrained in you since birth. No God is responsible for them.

In my heart of hearts, I really don't believe in the big bang theory, just as I think the idea of a God creating the entire universe and living things in 7 days is not only absurd but unrealistic. Don't you think a "God" capable of doing such great wonders would be too big, gargantuan and wonderful to be imagined. Now, don't you think if a "God" created something, then that "God" must have been created by some other "God". Now, infinite regression sets in.

If I were to choose between the big bang theory and the bible's explanation of the creation of the world, I'll go with the former, as it has some scientific basis.

...ain't no God, Bro!

I think the reason why you keep questioning the existence of a supreme being is basically cos you're viewing things from the prism of Abrahamic religions' narratives. Once you use a clear mind and rid yourself of the allegories and tales of Abrahamic religions, you'll see a clearer picture.

You agree that there's no big bang. And we all know that the sun created the solar system. So the question is: who created living organisms and plants, and made sure that despite our uniqueness, all of creation interact with one another?

Now, you got me! I ponder that too, you know. And I must tell you, I have no explanations for them.

I still marvel about how sex between males and females create another separate being. You know, just a meeting of microscopic sperm and ovum, and a child is conceived and born after 9 months.

But don't you think the being who designed that complex system was created by some other being. Now, who do you think that being is? Now you keep thinking and thinking till you can't think no more.

Are you saying you don't believe in the Abrahamic religions, the bible and the bibles' narration of the creation story? Those are the unconscious bases of your belief in a God, you know, even though you try so much to discredit them.
