Ask America and Britain why their super power weapons have not defeated Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan after 13 years of war......also ask USA, UK, Canada, France, etc have not defeated ISIS after 8,000 air bombardments by the most powerful air forces in this world.

Meanwhile, Nigerian military has reduced Book Haram to Okada riders and bicycle riders, 90% of them have been killed and all their armoured vehicles destroyed .

1. How many towns did Taliban controll while NATO was on full deployment?

2. Air campaigns do not equal victory, or else allies would have won ww2 in 1943

3. The armored vehicles they took from you?

you say you dont want to argue yet you keep bringing irrelevant post. I asked you before what do you have in 2015 as GBADS?
Simple question now you go off spurting junks that dont exist yet. -Do you have merlin now? No.
-What of the umkhonto sam? No.
I dont care about radars unless it is maybe AESA.
.
The rest is garbage
You asked someone if we had GBADS in 2015, and the simple answer is yes, we do, we have the Starstreak system, we have the Skyshield Radar, we have the Thutlhwa radar, we the Oerlikon GDF 007(although not all have been delivered).

SO YES!! we have a GBADS

American marines and British marines are trained and equipped to fight in foreign countries, US Marines don't fight on American soil, so they are failing where their traditional duty post is....Marines home is in foreign lands. Just educated you free of charge.

Size of USMC: 182,000
Size of US Army: 546,057

What role do Marines have and what role does the Army have?

50% of Nigeria is Islamic by religion, if Americs has 50% like Nigeria that means about 150 million Islamic believers as citizens living in America, then New York will be worse than Paris in terrorist attacks. How many million Islamists do you have as citizens of South Africa?
.

No, your assumption is that American muslims would hate america and that the American armed services would not be able to stop them

Both are false

I dare you Patrick to bring a citation to back your claim that northern Ireland is not part of Uk/great Britain - Northern Ireland.

And for the last time you dumb fvck... It's Britain not England.

"Northern Ireland (Irish: Tuaisceart Éireann[6] [ˈt̪ˠuəʃcəɾˠt̪ˠ ˈeːɾʲən̪ˠ]; Ulster Scots: Norlin Airlann) is a constituent unit[7] of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the northeast of the island of Ireland"

2. Anything that big you also wont be crossing in your Cobra, with a max speed of 8km on water.

3. Uhm.... They used amphibious assault ships and small amphibious crafts to lunch troops and equipment from the SEE, we also have amphibious assault craft in service with our navy, of course nothing substantial like a Mistral Class, but hey!! neither does Nigeria.
so how do you secure the beachhead? Or bridgehead at the other end before you start constructing bridge?
Or you expect the enemy to pause fighting and wait for you to build bridges and attack them.
Lemme educate you.
APCs and Tank Destroyers are amphibiuos so that they wil go ahead of the main troops secure a beachhead/bridgehead, dismount infantrymen to hold the position before building bridges.

South africa cannot capture spots for bridgeheads because you lack the capacity.

your own source.

For Seifert, 43, the SASF course reminded the 25-year veteran of his early days in the U.S. Army infantry, when survival training was an annual event. While some things the South Africans taught resembled training from his 17 years in Special Forces, the Minnesota- native learned important lessons.
.
Another part.
.
In all, the Soldiers learned about more than 70 birds, 50 trees and 25 insect species. When it comes to eating bugs - yeah, they did a lot of that - Otfinoski learned to avoid insects with bright colors Stick to natural tones, like those of the brown grasshopper - of which Otfinoski ate hundreds during his few weeks in the bush.
.
.
lol.. The US has been doing that type of training before on their own soil for years

You taught them how to eat insects... CONGRATZ

So if BH has been largely defeated and not destroyed, how does that deal with the simple argument that you are failing? It's very simple. Nigeria fights BH at home. Nigeria fails at its fights. Have you succeeded? No. It's very simple.

By the way, why are you shouting? Frustration much?

I see no begging. I see france wishing to share information and best practice. This is hardly the big event you all makeing it. Fact is you been fighting radical islamic groups longer than france so of course they want to see how uou do it. A smart man learns from his mistake's and smater man learns from other's. Same thing happened when Coalition forces started to suffer losses to mines. They noticed how others delt with it and copied it.

Does this means french intelligence agencies need nigeria? No they tracked down the leaders of the attack just fine, will this new found knowledge stop attacks? No since Nigeria is attacked all the time. What france gains is a greater understanding of there enemy. Art of war know your self and the enemy and you win every battle.

You are a mystic mind reader of the French ?

You have no land based Umkhonto in service.

Oerlikon is a mere cannon not missile.

Thutlwa is a mere radar not connected to any missile in service today.

Starstreak is a mere MANPAD missile with fvcking 1 km max ceiling.

SANDF air defence is one of the weakest in Africa today.
1. Did i say it was in service?
2. Did i say it was a missile? FYI history has proven that AA cannons have been more successful than SAM systems.
3. Did i say the Thutlwa was connected to any missile?
4. I've read sources that claim that the Starstreak has a 5km ceiling, but honestly it doesn't matter as it was designed to target fast moving low flying targets.

It not military is geology.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Britain

Ireland is not in Britain. Ireland is a separate land mass. This is the full name of the UK

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Notice Ireland is separate since it is not part of Britain.

You should know people use the names Britain and United Kingdom interchangeably with no intention to mislead, just convenient to use.

Northern Ireland is governed by British prime minister, and he is globally called BRITISH PRIME MINSTER all over the world.

Learn to use common sense when you read people's comments

These south Africans are very foolish in thinking.

Insurgency is insurgency regardless of the cause because every militant fights for a different cause.

Islamic insurgency
Insurgency born from secessionist movement
Insurgency born from racial apartheid etc...

Britain fought insurgency in it's borders for 20 years (you fools couldn't dispute that).

Now you fools are shifting to "how does BH relate to a secessionist insurgency having agrees Britain failed to defeat it for 20 good years.

Again its geology. Nothern Ireland is located in Ireland and is part of the UK Great Britain normally called Britain is a Island witch has 3 countries in it England, Scotland and Wales. These 3 countries form the UK along with Northern Ireland form the UK.

British prime minister is the ruler of Northern Ireland, or you elected a separate prime minister for Northern Ireland? Laws passed in the British Parliament are binding on Northern Ireland.

If Northern Ireland is not part of the British empire, then Boko Haram's area of influence is not part of Nigeria because the Boko region was actually a separate Kanem Bornu empire before it was merged with the rest of Nigeria by force under British colonization.

You seem to be drunk with over-brewed local beer from the way you think this morning.

Our GBADS is still a work in progress, when its completed it will be arguably the most effective Air defence system in Africa!

And what does Nigeria have that competes with our current Air defence network??

It is British territory as munch as Nigeria, South Africa, India, extra was there territory. Yeah it belonged to them but it was not them. There is a difference. That tiny piece of water separating Ireland from Britain makes a big difference.

Same Britain sailed a massive army, navy, and air force across the massive Atlantic ocean about 15,000 km away from home to defend and win back Falkland Island from Argentine military forces, so why is a small piece of water a 'big' barrier to hinder British military operations in Northern Island? You sure you are in the navy? Or are you employee of a fishing company catching crabs and sardines?

Dude are the enemy going to pause fighting while your APCs and Sagaie sail along at the mighty speed of 7km/h?? As i was trying to say before, any water crossing that is small enough for your Amphibious vehicles to get a cross in a few minutes, we can build a bridge in a few minutes.

Both ways you'll either need Air-support, or artillery bombardment, Just like our boats are sitting ducks to enemy fire so are your Vehicles sailing along at 8km/h if your lucky!!

Jap, im not arguing , but we're not only talking about Guns and Missiles here, we are talking about some of the most advanced air defence radars in the world.

And only GBADS phase 1 has been completed. GBADS phase 2 will be completed in late 2016 or early 2017 when the Umkhonto SAM system has been completed, all our Oerlikon GDF 007 have been delivered and we receive the RSR-320 radar system, GBADS phase 3 will only be completed around 2019 when we acquire a long range SAM(Most likely the Marlin) ect ect

Nigeria would have bought Akash SAM by that time.
