So I am here....I am in my thirties, female, and Igbo..I am a Christian, but I am also not conceited enough to believe salvation is for Christians alone...so I guess I am okay with free thinking, I do not mind humanists, free thinkers and agnostics but NOT so with atheists...cos I have to believe in a Higher Power, true. I currently am in Enugu, and realise I have not visited many cities around. I want to travel round...I would love to know the date for the Lagos party @ Siamia...I am interested in being friends with anyone here that I connect with (I am on a new life chart and want to try new things)..I would especially love to visit Calabar, so anyone living there? I would come, sort myself out as per accommodation etc but hang out with you, and hope to make a friend, or more (this is all platonic, no sinister motive lurking anywhere).

With regards to pictures/profile...I am on here anonymously, I honestly cannot upload my picture here...and I have nothing to hide. I would be mortified if someone I know recognised me here. I like NL because of the anonymity it provides...this does not mean I am fraudulent or fake....but I would attend a meetup/party, etc and introduce myself. Thankfully that avenue is now available. @Siamia, I am willing to call you? So you can interview me and see if you can have me in your group?

Lastly, my biggest peeve here is when people encourage people who are not qualified to post on here ( under-30 and esp the belligerent ones)...by continuing to respond to their posts...it is somewhat disrespectful esp to Siamia, considering that she initially opened the thread for the 40 and above but had to reconsider to include people younger. Honestly, enabling them when they post is not so good.

I apologise if my first post antagonises anyone, it is not meant to. And furthermore, I was here at the beginning. So I belong, right? . But seriously, I come with openness, no disrespect at all

Good morning everyone. I guess everyone had a fun filled weekend cos this place was unusually quiet.

It's a new day and a new week which happens to be the last day in the month of November.

This should be a period to take stock of all the happenings this year from January to date, all your successful endeavours, all your seemingly failed transactions(businesses, academics, relationships etc) look at them critically and see where you had shortcomings, where you think is your making, where you think you couldn't change and you cannot change.

This will help you strategize for the coming year which will rob off on your daily activities in every ramifications of your life.

Also remember your creator, he only gives power to make wealth, acknowledge him in your life. Les I forget, learn to give a helping hand to people around you especially to people who cannot pay back. it could be your time, finance etc. This little act of service will go a long way not just for the person but for you in divers ways.

Dear Systems Analyst,
I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded
my program from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and
found that the new program began unexpected
Child Processing and also took up a lot of space
and valuable resources.
This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In
addition Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other
programs and launches during systems
initialization and then it monitors all other system
activities.
Applications such as "Boys' Night out 2.5" and
"Golf 5.3" no longer run, and crashes the system
whenever selected. Attempting to operate selected
"Soccer 6.3" always fails and "Shopping 7.1" runs
instead. I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the
background whilst attempting to run any of my
favorite applications. Be it online or offline.
I am thinking of going back to "Girlfriend 7.0", but
uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you
please help?

Dear Customer,
This is a very common problem resulting from a
basic misunderstanding of the functions of the
Wife 1.0 program. Many customers upgrade from
Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 thinking that Wife 1.0 is
merely a UTILITY AND ENTERTAINMENT
PROGRAM. Actually, Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING
SYSTEM designed by its Creator to run everything
on your current platform.
You are unlikely to be able to purge Wife 1.0 and
still convert back to Girlfriend 7.0, as Wife 1.0 was
not designed to do this and it is impossible to
uninstall, delete or purge the program files from
the System once it is installed.
Some people have tried to install Girlfriend 8.0 or
Wife 2.0 but have ended up with even more
problems. (See manual under Alimony/Child
Support and Solicitors' Fees).
Having Wife 1.0 installed, I recommend you keep it
Installed and deal with the difficulties as best as
you can. When any faults or problems occur,
whatever you think has caused them, you must
run the.........
C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE Program and
avoid attempting to use the *Esc-Key for it will
freeze the entire system.
It may be necessary to run C:\ APOLOGIZE\
FORGIVE ME.EXE a number of times, and
eventually hope that the operating system will
return to normal.
Wife 1.0, although a very high maintenance
programme, can be very rewarding.
To get the most out of it, consider buying
additional Software such as "Flowers 2.0" and
"Chocolates 5.0" or "HUGS\ KISSES 600.0" or
"TENDERNESS\ UNDERSTANDING 1000.0" or even
Eating Out Without the Kids 7.2.1" (if Child
processing has already started).
DO NOT under any circumstances install
"Secretary 2.1" (Short Skirt Version) or "One
Nightstand 3.2" (Any Mood Version), as this is not
a supported Application for Wife 1.0 and the
system will almost certainly CRASH.
