Apple19: First of all, big congrats on your visa. Have you tried booking directly on AirFrance website or going to their office? I very much prefer to deal with airlines directly cos of changes that one might want to make later to the booking. It is usually easier when you are dealing with the airline directly. JFK has been known to be ok. Heard they are becoming stricter with preggers these days though, but i doubt you will have any ish as long as you declared at the interview and you are prepared. You should be able to make changes on the promo ticket. It might cost a lil more though. I heard Southwest airline is the best as they are the only domestic airline that allow 2 checked in luggage for free. Mkae sure you book well ahead of your trip. Travelstat might be able to do it. Just might not be as straightforward as it could be with the airline it self. Bon voyage. 2 Likes |

AT POINT OF POE - I DIDNT BOOK FOR A HOSPITAL BEFORE GOING, BUT ON POINT OF ENTRY I WAS DELAYED AND ASKED WHY I DIDNT BOOK I TOLD THEM THE PERSON I WAS STAYING WITH JUST MOVED AND WE NNED TO FIND ANOTHER HOSPITAL IN THAT AREA . I WAS EVENTUALLY LET GO AFTER PLENTY QUESTIONS AND 3 HOURS WHAT DO U DO ANS -DOCTOR WHAT DOES YOUR HUSBAND DO AND -DOCTOR HOW MANY CHILDREN ANS- 3 HOW MUCH DO U HAVE ANS- 4K AND THE REST IN MY ACCOUNT AS SHOWN ON MY STATEMENT I WILL BE USING MY DEBIT CARD TO ACCESS THE MONEY . Enyinne: Madam... No need to get angry.. What's wrong is wrong ... That you and other people got a visa using deceptive means doesn't make it right If what you advised the young man to do isn't wrong, i'm not sure how else to describe it. It's plain as black and white.. It's folks that do stuff like this that makes foreigners look at Nigerians and generalize that we're all dishonest people and fraudsters... There's no point arguing with you ...You know you're wrong that's why you're angry.. maybe when you get a lifetime visa ban from one of these countries, you'll learn.. 19 Likes |

@Apple19 I always feel bad for students hustling, it wasn't a nice experience for me. I always tell people I sold my body to survive in school, and before y'all go It's not what you think o! My dad had stroke wen I was in year 1, then things took a downward spiral, I couldn't belive the hardship after growing up with a silverspoon. I now heard that if you join sports and go for training in stadium you get 1k a day, dats how I took up a sport o! 35k a month for a student was cool cash that year o! That's how I "sold" my body. Hehehehe! Then you should see us scrambling for competitions. Usually 150k for gold, 100k for silver and 75k for bronze for local competitions. Dre was still thanks for coming. NUGA games, WAUG, National sports festival, free food and 2k daily allowance. All African games, my dream was to make Olympics, not just to win but to chop allowances! Won't talk further so I won't reveal my identity! The year Olympics tryouts started I graduated and got bank job, and poof! went the dream. Sorry for derailing the thread but your zobo and puff puff got me thinkingm 8 Likes 2 Shares |

@Hisuula abi wetin b ur name....The only reason u stayed glued to this thread is quite obvious. U prolly think pple here can afford to birth dia babies in US and definitely they must be rich. O se mistake aburo. The kain hustle wey some of us go even hustle to pay dis hospital bill and fund dis trip ehn... If we talk am here e go blow ur mind I swear! If u see me on top my sewing machine dey sew my colleagues cloth for midnite even with dis belle on top say I'm gainfully employed, u go fear fear. If u kip up with this begging attitude, u're not likely to make it early. "Apa lara, igunpa niye kan" if u know wat i mean. I bet if they giv u this money, u def will come bak for more. U seem to be a pro at begging. Oya roll ur sleeve and get down to work... U'll b amazed at how much u'll make in a short time. Peace! 24 Likes |

...And after several days of postponement, i'm finally here. To God be d Glory, our PRINCESS arrived exactly two weeks today(13/11/2015) at Oakbend hospital thru Dr E. The whole experience was quite different frm wat is obtainable in Nigeria. My tear was so perfectly sutured dat i now feel like a virgin(still need som time 2 confirm dat though ) secondly, i didnt use epidural, bt in less dan one week, i wasn't feeling any pain down there( compared to my previous experiences) I've settled all my bills except Brown n associates, have also gotten baby passport wt Naija visa on it. I've ported 2 Chicago, awaiting d arrival of my LO's SSN for our final porting 2 Naija. Will come to share my cost breakdown once i'm done wt B&A. Once again, thanks 2 ds wonderful family, it wouldn't hav bn easier/possible wtout u guys. 20 Likes |

ozycy:@ Phema, and Ozycy, Thanks ma'am, but is it advisable I book with them, cos the price on travelstart is different from the price on AF's website...If I book with them, will I be able to make changes on AF's website later?? Can do the infant thing myself, but my own booking, hope the promo thing won't come back to hunt me O coz I might change my return date? |

@Apple19 Try and book from Jan 21 to any date u want on ur return ticket.am sure you will get something cheaper even on travel start or wakanow. U can add a week extra to ur intended return date so as to prevent extra charges for date change 1 Like |
