This happens only in areas where superstition rules, reading meanings to every frivolous and youthful exploits, whoever they employ much likely will be less intelligent, and my entertainment guy will hopefully start an entertainment outfit and cash-in, while the bank struggles with the mediocre-no tattoo-no piercing worker.... bank's loss on the long run grin

the lady got it all wrong...if she had said the standard of the org can't accept tattoos n pierced body part s understandable...saying u don't trust such peeps cus of Ur funds s rubbish to me cus d las time I checked, most people stealing both government funds n that of companies don't have their body pierced or tattoed....irony of life s that her kids may v tattoos n piercing on their body and she won't say anything...

Serves him right. It took God's intervention I would have fired one of my staff whom I just confirmed his smoking habit in the mornings before official resumption time. The fact that he stinks of cigarette odour every morning got me pissed.

i was in the office yesterday when i saw alot of people who came for an interview as my working place was recruiting temporary staffs for a project. fortunately, my boss was one of interviewing panel. At the end of the interview, i overheard him in his office discussing with another man who is also a senior staff.

MY BOSS: one guy lost his chance of getting the offer today.

OTHER MAN: what happened?

MY BOSS: he answered questions intelligently, but Mrs Tosin noticed that he had holes pierced on his two ears and she asked him about the holes.

OTHER MAN: what was he response?.

MY BOSS: he was beating around the bush by saying he was once into entertainment before he decided to change his career. but when he left the office, we all agreed and decided that he won't get the job because he doesn't appear to be responsible with the holes on his ears. so, we can't trust him with the bank's funds.


I was so sad on hearing this and I felt like crying for the young man even though I didn't know him. To all the youths out there, please always think twice before your Pierce those ears and draw those tattoos because I have also seen someone who was dropped at interview stage because of a tattoo on her neck. thanks.

In developed worlds, you see guys that are heavily tattooed get mouth watering jobs. is it the tattoo or the guy that will do the job and you say he answered the questions intelligently... People have defrauded their companies, almost wrecked their companies as a result of incompetence. I can bet anything that these people don't have pierced ears or tattoos or whatnot. One's outward appearance does not always represent what he's capable of doing but a lot of over zealous religious hypocrites can't see beyond that. As long as the young man gave satisfactory answers during the interview, he should have been hired on a probationary basis.
