liljaydee: NOUN is a full time institution whose mode of study is full flesh Open Education System. The Open University system is designed in such a way that as a student, you're required to study everyday for specific hours rather than coming to a classroom where lectures teach students every day like the Conventional Universities. Although, there sometimes exist tutorial facilitation, this is optional for students who wish to participate. Part time study is popularly called Distance Learning in Conventional Universities. But in NOUN, what we have is a full time study done in a flexible and convenient way. Here, a 4year Course is a 4year Course. However, you're allowed to determine how/when you intend to study within your own time schedule. 2 Likes |

patakioye: Mass Communication is somehow interwoven with Human Resources in one way or the other. So, you could be accepted for MBA (Human Resources). REASONS: Communications graduates have long been valued within businesses among human resources teams, helping to recruit, train and retain valued staff. In addition, your role as a communications graduate is likely to be in providing the right information at the right time to the right people within the company. You are good to go! |

Luka316: #modified I have done mine, its requires two (2) Steps: STEP 1: all you need to do is to log on to jamb website(www.jamb.org.ng) by right side of the webpage click on REGULARIZATION a pop out window will surface then enter your JAMB REG NO. Provided on your NOUN Student Portal and click VALIDATE to validate your Jamb number. NOTE: you will be require to THUMBPRINT and Upload your passport and also fill some personal details. having done that you will click on the provided menu within JAMB site, you will see 2013 UTME, 2011 UTME, 2009 UME, 2008 UME, 2007 UME, 2006 UME etc. Endeavour to highlight the year that corresponds with the year you got admitted into NOUN i.e. year written on your first Admission letter of NOUN. Click check admission Status, you will see a page that display'' Congratulating you on your admission to NOUN with your NOUN admission details. STEP 2: GOTO any JAMB Office or Cyber Cafe and purchase Jamb Regularization e-Facility Card. its cost N1000 to N1500. log on to jamb.org.ng, Highlight on the year you got admission and click Admission Letter Printing (DE 2011 Inclusive) Note 2011 is used here because that was the year I got Admission into NOUN, it depends on your own year of admission with NOUN. Aftermath, Type in your card detail i.e. PIN, SERIAL NUMBER and JAMB number provided to you by NOUN via your Student portal, PRINT your admission letters which will come out in two Copies one signify FOR INSTITUTION USE ONLY and the other One Signify FOR STUDENT USE ONLY. Note: the two printed admission letter must be in Colour and one copy that Signify for Institution will be sent to NOUN probably to update your record with them. #copied

I paid since last year for regularization but till today nothing on my portal. |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by MimiHANS(m): 9:57am On Dec 02, 2015 |
Luka316: You'll need to go to JAMB Office OR any Cybercafe that specialises in Jamb registration and purchase the Jamb regularization scratch card. At the Cybercafe, they'll take your biometrics (finger and signature recognition) and other information needed. Make sure you monitor them in filling the form meticulously. After you must have finished filling the form online, print it out (coloured) and take it to your SC. |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by MimiHANS(m): 10:00am On Dec 02, 2015 |
AliEsq: It's only meant for those who are due for graduation. When you are endorsed for graduation, you'll see the Jamb regularization number in your portal. |
