You can do animal production without a degree. . Studying that in the Uni is such a waste to me... You can even venture into the biz now if you have the required capital; all you have to do is meet someone already successful in the business. .

Please, study something else in d university except of course you want animal production by all means!

Agric Engineering. You see, the truth is, almost every agricultural course in this country requires a capital for you to run after school. Fishery, Crop Science, Animal Science, Aquaculture, Forestry and Wildlife, Agricultural Extension, etc.

Why not look at the health courses. If you are science student I will recommend some wonderful courses needed in this country. That's if you are after money and not passion. Or if money is the passion.

So you don't regret later on.
Get a more lucrative course, graduate and if you still have passion for agric, you can dive into it. You wouldn't need a certificate to do that. That's like having two birds in hand

You are on the right path, don't be discouraged by these myopic and uninformed comments about agric courses here.That is the reason most of them are unemployed and poor, they don't know agric is a gold mine.I will recommend animal science or agric econs in FUTO for you, Futo has a robust school of agric.
