thanks guys and why I asked is because I wanted to upgrade my 4922a so I decided to confirm it with d Code Number and Serial Number of my decoder but I couldn't find any Code number on my decoder. can any one pls help me check through system setting, security 0000. please please help

@ Dlee1 and oluchicago, I must say the situation has turned me into a rookie.....once I'm on 1.13p and I click on TVC news and other chanells having same tp which is not even stable, my box detects " new sw" and If I fail to disable OTA before switching off my box?! Then I have to succumb to mytv update of 2.13 p though I will enjoy tvc at a very stable condition without tv3 multitv cos its not patched. I'm just stocked!.somebody advised I should downgrade each time it does that and that's just what I've been doing with high risk of frying my box. I don't even know how to explain it... I'm just tired!

@all,please any time one buys a new. Strong decoder do get a new flash/pen drive ,go into the Menu-usb. option and upload the original software from the decoder and keep it in a safe place. This uploaded. software could be used to repair the decoder if it gets fried... Works for both original and fake decoders

@yaseen1: could you try this and see... Go to. Strong technologlies site, look for the exact model of your decoder and download the original software from there,
Please note ;never use a patch software to repair a fried decoder.
Now rename the original software rom.stb..if it's a bin file then rename it rom.bin.this is what you are going to use to flash your decoder.

@all, flashing a 4922A series and. Similar strong decoders,
First,putoff the decoder at the mains,now insert the flash drive that contains only the flashing software into the usb behind the decoder.. Now with one finger on the knob(ie.the standby/menu) infront of. the decoder,..power on the decoder from behind, keep your eye on the tv scteen once the decoder detects the software released your band. from the knob and wait for decoder to finish. If you are successful, make sure you don't have anyone within armslength ,you will not need another casualty as a result of jubilation... So long

Pls can I do decoder to decoder to wake up d dead one. If yes procedures pls.

If disabling OTA in settings didn't solve the problem, I fear ur decoder might be a fake decoder. Kindly remove your coaxial cable each time the OTA update is about to start or better still do away with Eutelsat 16/Amos 5 on that decoder

Please who can help me with a test account for european cccam that i can use to test my hispasat to confirm if it can open it well before buying. I tested the hotbird account my guy bought from someone on my hispasat but it was only opening one station der. Wat i want is an hispasat account that can open hispasat well and if possible both hotbird. Thanks
