In a bid to really make the students at the Groene Hart school understand her subject, Heerkens uses spandex suits decorated with the body’s internal organs, bones and muscles to show children what’s going on beneath their skin.

In an interview with local news site Omroepwest, she said her inspiration came after seeing someone wearing leggings showing all of the muscles that were beneath them.

Heerkens then reportedly looked on the internet and found a huge range of such clothes, and got hold of the suit that covered the whole of the body, showing its insides.

This's why western nations develop, cause they understand how to teach science. Students also seem to understand how to learn.

When teaching science subjects, it's all about helping the student conceptualize the topic. It's not about helping them to pass exams. Answering question in an exam is more like a bonus when you understand a topic. For example; you can also explain fellow students what the teacher said, that's another bonus. You can even use what you've learnt in the class in your day-to-day life, that's another bonus.

African schools should invest in education and stop teaching students how to pass exams. Answering a question in an exam is just one of the things you can do!. It's not the goal!.

That teacher understands what I've always known, and it's that real education/teaching is not like pouring water into a bucket. Rather, real education/teaching is like lighting a candle that will light a second candle. Then, the second candle lights a third candle, and the third candle lights a fourth candle, and so on. From one candle, thousands or millions of candles will be lit, each with full independent capability and potential to re-create itself forever, as opposed to the inability of a bucket of water filling many other empty buckets.

Someday I'm going to change the way education is conducted in Africa.

When will Nigeria be like this? Everything about the class is e-,no chalk,no writing on the board,the teacher brought in her laptop and displayed stuffs using projector,imagine in a primary school o,even Universities in Nigeria no dey do this kind. Kudos to the teacher,she really loves her job,white people do everything with commitment,she even consulted the school director before she did this,imagine how high esteemed they place the learning of these pupils,not our teachers in Nigeria that would give puff puff and chin chin to pupils to sell in class for them
