I have brainstormed about Biafra, as a Yoruba man I just wanna say, I think this is a matter of National interest, which requires absolute care, if the government does anyhow with it, it could cause another Instability, loss of life and property. I see people who are soaked in their belief, radicalised and won't give up unless they die or actualise their aim. I know some people will come and rubbish this as nonsense but let's remember one thing there is no burning bush that does not start without a small little flame. As for we Yorubas, I hope our cowardice does not lead us to extinction and mediocrity. 8 Likes 4 Shares |

We have never associated ourselves with the activities of these people. We do not know them, we do not recognize them, and we share no responsibility in their actions. We shall demand our rights when the time is ripe. If the British quit Nigeria now at this stage, the Northern people would continue their uninterrupted conquest to the sea”. - Sir Tafawa Balewa (1947) 2* “We the people of the North will continue our stated intention to conquer the South and to dip the Koran in the Atlantic ocean after the British leave our shores.” - Sir Ahmadu Bello (1957) 3* "The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand father, Othman Danfodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use minorities in the North as willing tools and South as conquered territories and never allow them to rule over us or have control over their future" - Sir Ahmadu Bello, October 12, 1960 Ahmadu Bello, arrogantly uttered the aforementioned statement in a multicultural and multi-religious country and got away with it, and many bigots still hold him in high esteem and even shove it down the throats of other people. 9 Likes 1 Share |

That will show you the level of hypocrisy in Nigeria. The Yorubas today know the truth but greed won't allow most of them to air it. As a Biafra, we are done with Nigeria. We can't continue this way. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

Franzeez: Thanks for your honesty in spite of the barrage of attack likely to come ur way. I am not an igbo but from AkwaIbom and have been happily married to an Ibefun lady from Ogun state for the past 13 years. I may not be an igbo by tribe, but I am Biafra through political and philosophical consciousness. I am in total support of the agitation and strongly believe every southerners and minorities from the north must support it. The worse scenario should be 100% practice of true federalism or we are given the opportunity to choose how we intend to live with the others 11 Likes 1 Share |

Sowell7: You are absolutely free to believe in the Nigerian project. As a civilised man I respect your view, I also urge you to respect the view of those who don't believe in the Nigerian project.... 8 Likes 1 Share |

Franzeez: why don't you just come out clean and not post this behind the guise of being a yoruba. Your Monika does says a lot mind you. I put it to you that you are the ultimate big time coward for posting this hiding your real identity |

Danfuster: Feel free to say what you like. After all it is a free world, believing what we see on social media is not pragmatic since it iw not verifiable but it is up to an individual to either believe or not to. So i like the fact that you recognise that and chose to either believe or not. There are some post that I myself choose not to believe, but I knew deep within me that not believing does not make it not true, there is every chance of it being true or false. |
