[quote author=Intendy post=40600301]http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/access-bank-shut-as-enraged-customer-begins-execution-of-n636m-credit-judgment/226828/ . Christopher Isiguzo in Enugu Banking activities were on Tuesday grounded at all the branches of Access Bank within Enugu state as F. G. Onyenewe Motors Nigeria began the execution of a N636 million credit judgment it obtained against the bank. It was gathered that the legal tussle, which lasted several years, ended at the Supreme Court in April this year, with the ruling in favour of the transport company. Some newsmen who monitored the execution observed that the court officials carried the bank's properties, including computers and vehicles while the gates were shut against customers. The exercise, which began at the bank's regional headquarters at the Garden Avenue in Enugu, was also carried out at the Ogui Road branch. Hundreds of customers ran from one branch of the bank to another in order to make panic withdrawals but it was not possible as banking activities were suspended. Lawyers to the judgment creditor, court bailiffs and a unit of policemen from Enugu State Police Command enforced the judgment against the bank, which drew hundreds of passersby to the scene. Speaking to journalists at the Ogui Road branch of the bank, counsel to the plaintiff, Barr. Tagbo Ike, said it was evident that the bank was not financially viable to pay the judgment debt.) this news might affect access bank share today. |

ukay2: I went to my bank(Stanbic)this morning and I was told they have not gotten any information on e-dividend mandate forms portal system, except I give them my registrars mandate form for them to endorse and I will take it back to my various registrars..... Has any one done this new SEC e-dividend mandate form via banks Cc: my joy, angelo08, Elai etc |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by myjoy084: 12:31pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
ukay2: Sir, you can wait for your bank to get it done for you or visit another bank (If you have another one) without going through different requirements from your different brokers. The e-dividend mandate doesn't takes much time the moment they process it and upload it to the e-DMMS portal. Your brokers will surely see it and the bank will verify what needs to be verify. Everything is done online via the portal! These will saves you time and money! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by myjoy084: 12:33pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
EDUECO: Sir, you only need one bank to process it and upload it for you. No need to do it 2 or 3 times unless there is a little setback or error when processing or uploading the form into the portal system. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 12:35pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
myjoy084: If you already have one account registered with a registrar and you want to change it to another one,can you upload the new account via your bank as well?......................... |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by myjoy084: 12:37pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
angelo82: Absolutely yes sir. The bank only needs your BVN and the name of those registrars. Your registrar might give you a call to confirm if you will like to change your bank mandate? Or they will just update your bank mandate via the portal with the new one submitted. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by sirflav: 12:48pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
myjoy084: Yes SIR i am in some of those stocks you menttioned but my question was pertaining to a scenario similar to the bull of august this year. UBA stopped at 4.50 meaning there was a general consensus amongst investors that that should be the price reached. so if there was suddenly a bull in NSE like in August from the price of uba now i am trying to get the feeling of investors to know what price they would expect it to reach? Messrs Elia and Angelo think march, april will be the bull and feel above N5 2 Likes |

Chibuking81: SIR I think FBNH was a small personal bull, i am referring to a big NSE bull that will carry most of the stocks. Where do you think UBA will reach? 2 Likes |

sirflav: Sir, i will advise you to hold-on to what works best for you. A little drop of water and a grain of sand makes a mighty ocean. The only thing i will say concerning your question is that the anticipated year 2016 will be better than 2015 for stock market and our country, Nigeria. angelo82: Sir, they might have turn their back on him but they should realize that "One can't build a house on a foundation that had already rotten and tarnished in terms of the materials used"! This is applicable to Nigeria at the moment. There's a strong possibility that things will turn around for best as we approach 2016 by his grace. Remember, in business there is no permanent enemy but permanent interest! They are coming back for sure... 2 Likes |
