lezz: What surprises me is that, today that South Africa you call names is no:1 investor on the continent. It is beautiful, developed and accomodate 10 millions of foreigners who left their countries because of war. Today, Nigerians slaughter one another in the name of religion. Nobody makes noise about it. Truly, any mention of SA makes someone's stomach to run. 1 Like |

iblawi: Mandela called for sanctions against Abacha's military government before the Commonwealth. A call which succeeded and Nigeria suffered plethora of sanctions until they backed down and installed democracy. Mandela further called for oil embargo, a move which was opposed by other states citing it will push innocent Nigerians into stone age poverty and famine. 1 Like |

mzilakazi: Operation Corona is a permanent SANDF national assignment and your army is failing there at home . |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 5:56pm On Dec 03, 2015 |
agaugust: Operation Corona works with borders, not rhino poachers. Two different duties. During apartheid SA used to be surrounded by high voltage powered fence and when ANC came into power it deactiivated it because it was thought to torture aliens in an inhumane manner. SANDF is not failing, practically there is no longer boundaries which restrict illegal aliens like it was in the past. America as tough as it thought to be, it suffers porous borders which allows in millions of illegal Mexicans and other foreign nationals. The same problem SA is facing America is facing double of it. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 6:01pm On Dec 03, 2015 |
Patchesagain: Better equipped? SANDF is a dry land only army with no single amphibious combat vehicle..... Nigerian army has hundreds of such vehicles that you can only wish you had. South African private confidential company trained just 120 Nigerian low rank corporals, privates, and sergeants. Nigerian military trained South African high rank generals. We trained you 100 times more than you trained us. In the 1980s and 1990s Nigerian army and air force trained your ANC fighters who now lead SANDF and SAAF generals and now command your army/air force, we actually built today's South African military leaders and commanders according to recent confession of your own military brigadier general who is paying tribute to Nigerian military for a job well done building the foundation of SANDF. This historical fact will forever humble South Africa when Nigeria reminds them. . |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 6:12pm On Dec 03, 2015 |
agaugust: SANDF has floating bridges because they know well after they have done researches that the so called amphibious vehicles with thin skins are a lot risky. One man can drown thousands of such vehicles while they are crossing the lake or river, just with a motar or MGL. They provide small space to return fire. So, SANDF cannot use such toys. All so called former MK members who were trained in Africa were retrained by SANDF because a whole lot of them were incompetent. They couldn't handle the rifle properly, conduct safety precautions, not to talk of disassembling the rifle or even to clean it. They couldn't drill property or even know how to salute. They were all half cooked and that's what they admitted before us. |

mzilakazi: Thanks for proving that Mandela don have common sense like every other zulu or maybe age was affecting him already. So how did his action remove military from power. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 6:40pm On Dec 03, 2015 |
iblawi: It crushed Military rule into pieces and gave Abacha BP and heart attack. His only comfort was to love-vendor in prostitutes to help him relieve stress through sordid intercourse. Mandela is always impatient. That's what he was known for. He pushed the ANC to take up arms against apartheid government after he used all available means to persuade the minority government to discard all their discriminating policies of segregation. He was left with no choice but to die for his land carrying Bazooka. |

shizzy7: MTN might cough up $3.4 billion but that money will amount to nothing to ordinary Nigerians. It will be consumed by corruption. First it will pay former MTN Nigeria CEO and other top officials to thank them for their job well done for delaying the deactivation of sims. It will further be cut into pieces to pay all of the elements that partook in this illicit plot. You are being watched. Beware!! 1 Like |

By trying to go for MTN, Nigeria have hurt themselves. Which is why Buhari has gone to SA to explain himself and basically plead for forgiveness. When Obama decided to punish SA for the poultry issue, there were no explanations. He simply said SA would be kicked out of AGOA and knew to stick to his guns. No discussions with Zuma. But pathetic Nigeria has had to go to SA explain and plead for leniency for their overzealous action. Seeing as investors didn't take kindly to it ....>. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-11-26/buhari-bounce-becomes-bust-as-nigeria-policies-annoy-investors Buhari bounce becomes bust as Nigeria policies annoy investors Buhari waited five months before naming his cabinet, hasn’t proposed a clear plan to revive growth and backed foreign-exchange controls aimed at defending the naira. His retention of gasoline subsidies, plans to raise spending in the face of declining revenue and silence about a $5.2 billion fine levied on mobile-phone operator MTN Group Ltd. have added to investor unease. ----- As confirmed by Augugust, the poor country that's Nigeroa has no money and it needs to have MTN pay up so that it can feed itself. Investors see this and are uneasy. Pathetic nation. 1 Like |

mzilakazi: Yet another instance of South Africans bringing civilisation to Nigeria. "Then, everyone expected it to be a product for the few among the many, but today it is the product for everybody. Nigerians have been able to get affordable telecommunications," Strand said. That's because Nigeria has Africa's largest population, estimated at 170 million, and building a telecommunications network costs roughly the same for 1 million or 10 million subscribers, he said. Mobile telephone networks, in a country without working landlines, have immeasurably boosted business and trade. http://m.news24.com/fin24/Tech/News/nigerias-52bn-fine-against-mtn-is-worlds-largest-20151120 Augugust is right. The poor country that's Nigeria desperately needs MTN's money, it is so desperate for it, it even forgot to think about investors. Bush, voodoo economic policies. You cannot deny there might be a fiscal element to the massive fine,” he said by phone from Paarl, near Cape Town. “It will make investors a little bit more wary of investing in Nigeria.” ----> http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-11-26/buhari-bounce-becomes-bust-as-nigeria-policies-annoy-investors So embarrassing and pathetic are the Nigerians that they are now trying to find reason by reducing the fine ---> http://www.bbc.com/news/business-34992892. Spanked by the market, no doubt. But even then, they are still in no-man's land. Pathetic nation, this Nigeria. Now, kicked out are MTN Nigeria's useless Nigerians. In are the South Africans to watch after them to make sure they aren't ever given a chance to be useless again. Talk about things backfiring. Massive harm to brand Nigeria today. ---> http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/194373-nigeria-slashes-mtn-n1-4trillion-fine-as-nigerias-ceo-michael-ikpoki-resigns.html

mzilakazi:http://www.sabinews.com/mtn-in-deep-trouble-shares-suspended-in-south-africa/ Okay, I stand corrected. Trading in shares was suspended. Investors have been scared off way before your MTN saga came up due to Political and Economic reasons. Are you trying to insinuate that they cannot or should not be fined just because they are "MTN" or because investors will run? They have been violating rules like forever in this country feeling like they are 'Untouchable' because they are a major stakeholder in our telecom sector. I support the fine wholeheartedly. 1 Like |
