TV01:Pr0stitution is the oldest profession in the world for a reason, let's not sit here and continue to kid ourselves. Babies do not have the capacity for that. Same way they cannot walk, talk and do a lot of other vital human tasks on their own volition TV01:Its not the aspiration IMO. I see it more as an add on benefit. Companionship is what counts. If you guys are not compatible i fail to see how being a virgin helps TV01:Who comprises society no be individuals? TV01:This I doubt strongly. A woman can have some deficiencies that even her virginity can't salvage. It is the least trait I would consider while seeking for a wife TV01:Lol that mentality needs to change. 3 Likes |

pickabeau1: Did you really need to ask this question? When you change your opinion because you have learned something new, which opinion will be yours, the old one or the one that is based on more knowledge and understanding? I only read your If you read it, you would have also read the sentence where I said that I don't condemn such relationships. 1 Like |

Mindfulness:You don't know what "my religion" says. But Quelle surprise, you don't appear to know what your own religion says either ! Mindfulness:As ever you struggle, flounder, fall flat, and then resort to pained ad hominem...please show me where I ever excused men from NSBM or excuse them when they fell short. Better take advantage of your ban sharpish . TV 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mindfulness: ok However on this case, i still believe she was below a reasonable age of consent -> 18 However the accounts show she was aware and not naïve +++++ ON opinion, i asked you why you felt there should be no age of consent and then condemn those who marry/date older men |

TV01: I have no religion. Religion is for those who are not sure that God exists. So your Bible does not contain this passage Mr Slut / Single Mother / Divorcee Shamer? “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. And you have the audacity to speak of coherence and integrity? Funny how all the people you are shaming are always female. 2 Likes |

TV01:How is that a strawman? I'm essentially telling you there is more to a woman than her virginity. I have never said not being one makes you a better person than an actual virgin. I'm saying to me it counts for zilch. There are various medical ways to check and confirm your intended partner is A-Ok so find another story. Abi non sexual diseases no dey? Abeg make we leave story for Puff daddy. What of guys who knack both good and bad girls? Abi a girl that knacks is bad by default? You're essentially defining a girl by who she slept with. pickabeau1: I have not condemned anyone. I don't believe that an 18-year-old girl would want to marry a man who could be her grandpa. If she does, I am fine with it even though I see a lot of disadvantages. |

Mindfulness: And I have said men should not be chaste? Stop arguing with yourself woman. You refuse to respond to questions thrown at you.. But for some weird reason you think you can ask questions of others. You cannot railroad us to accepting your opinions, you will convince us using persuasive superior argument. If you're not here to argue but poo poo our thoughts I guarantee you're not welcome. This is no tampon thread for those with no control over their menstrual hormones. 5 Likes |

Timbuktou: If you did, we wouldn't have the discussion here. All I saw on this thread here was a pity party of men who are whining about moral decadence in society but refusing to take any responsibility. It is always easier to blame others, isn't it? 1 Like |

A40: Your scam a scam artist. One need not be innocent to be scammed. Ignorant, yes. Innocent, not necessarily. However, in this case, there was no scam involved. I seriously doubt promises of eternal couplehood were made. It'funny we don't here of her previous sexual partners. Was she older than them all? The fax of this story is that she desperately wanted to hook this particular person and she did what she thought could keep him. Alas, she was grossly mistaken. No be her type. Neighbourhood bicycle? Tufiakwa. She miss road. Wrong move. Bad investment. What is wrong in men being innocent? It works to the benefit of the home as the woman's innocence does. Per your virgin comment, which is why i use the term chaste. Nobody is saying stick to the first virgin you meet. Indeed, one who isnt untouched coud very well be the perfect partner. There's a reason why certificates anred qualification demanded at job interviews. Does it mean everyone who gets an employment letter is going to perform well? Oga, ask women about their first love. First love o, and then first sex. God help the husband if he doesn't measure up to either. It's common sense really. Sugabelly was never a victim. At no point did she say she was held against her home will. All the crazy things she did were done because she didn't want to displease her boyfriend not out of any physical compulsion. And I think it serves a valid lesson for before marriage, maybe when i get home i'll explain better my opinion. |

Mindfulness:What a shame. On a side note, I happen to know a men's board (chateau hertiste) where replying a female post earns you a ban. Women can come and post/troll all they want, and everyone just ignores them. Hilarious |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Nobody: 7:26pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
Mindfulness: Refusing to take which responsibility? Comprehension seems to be difficult. It's a cause and effect thing. You women wept for sexual liberty and were given after years of protest of your subjugation. Now, as men we can see that this thing is being freely distributed why not have our own share of the largess? You think im going to be happy to marry a non-virgin when I saved myself? On this same nairaland we have heard women doing under-g when they were supposedly in no-sex relationships. Men have got wiser and frankly we know you lot are not to be trusted. If the gate is open I will enter freely. Thats the difference between mo gbo mo ya (gatecrashing) and strictly-by-invite parties. This party is a free for all banquet and society is paying for its lack of exclusivity. No chaste man wants to marry an animashaun (free giver). Thats not even going into the details of what women really want in a partner. 1 Like |

BoboYekini: That's a fully men's board and the nature of nairaland doesn't make that realistic. Moreover, we've been able to educate women in this section and we don't claim to know it all. However, I see your point about ignoring a troll. |

Mindfulness:You're confusing yourself, ask me why PLEASE.... Indeed God does not have to believe he exists because he knows he does.. Now where does this leave Mindfulness? From the little I know, Mindfulness is neither God nor was she born all-knowing. Mindfulness has come to believe in the existence of God actively or passively through years of being exposed to religions and religious doctrines. Mindfulness would rather have us think that she believes in God but does not have to follow a religious doctrine when in fact everything she now knows about God comes from the religion she so wants to detach herself from. Believing in the existence of a deity my dear is religion, connecting with him in a way that gives you no-better feeling is you practising religion. Why are you like this sef? Confucianism is much better stuff for you to study...pun intended! 3 Likes |

Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Nobody: 7:44pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
crackhaus: Didn't you say that it doesn't make sense to say that God has no religion? How can God have a religion when religion is based on the belief that God exists? Does God know that God exists or does God believe that God exists? |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by crackhaus: 7:46pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
