Two facts here some PDP guys are trying to downplay (as you can see above): 1. Jonathan is very interested in this election. 2. A victory for Dickson (PDP) will be face saving for Jonathan and his wife. They can dribble all they like, but that is true. It will be a very big shame on Jonathan is Dickson lose. 6 Likes |

egift: One fact you APC guys are trying to downplay!! APC stands no chance in today's election in bayelsa!! Unless voters are imported from Ogbomosho and Kano ,I don't see how APC would emerge victorious in today's election in Bayelsa state 2 Likes |

It is the contention of the people that for the years he was away in Abuja,Without a doubt, every Nigerian with a disabused mind knows the only thing Jonathan "transformed" during his years of horrendous misrule was the size and mass of his pocket and that of a few Nollywood hoookers. I'd be the happiest man alive if PDP loses the election. 8 Likes |

Firefire:Old news?? Is that all you have to say after all?? You and Gboliwe claimed he doesn't care much about the outcome of the poll and certainly isn't trying to "save face" as the newspaper reports, but you've been shown proof he actually "begged" the Bayelsa people to "save him from embarrassment" by voting Dickson and all you can come up with is "OLD news". Since when did evidence become irrelevant with the passage of time?? Na real confirm olodo some of una be. Egift, please let those two be. They have as much right to be foolish as you have to be smart. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

HungerBAD: the bayelsans are also following the news about how APC Is trying to destroy the country, they know how bad APC is handling the country's economy, the fuel scarcity and the increase in price also reached Bayelsa, the suffering of their Imo neighbouring state and how bad APC is handling the state also appeared in Bayelsa newspapers, some Bayelsans are even on Nairaland and they are very sorry for not voting Jonathan, they will vote wickedly against APC. 8unit: 1. The pain Nigerians are suffering today is a legacy PDP left behind. 2. Have you also stated how Badly Bayelsa people have suffered in the hands of PDP? No Portable Water In Jonathan's Bayelsa https://www.nairaland.com/2562741/no-portable-water-jonathans-bayelsa Agony, Ill-health as Residents Lack Drinking Water in Niger Delta “Right from the time dem born our mama and papa dem sef, na this river water we dey use baff (bathe), wash cloth and even cook food sef,” says septuagenarian Ajuwa Ere, a native of Amassoma Community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area (LGA) of Bayelsa State, referring to the Amassoma River that meanders past the neighbourhood.http://www.vitalvoicesforhealth.org/environment/agony-ill-health-as-residents-lack-drinking-water-in-niger-delta 3 Likes |

Reading through the comments, my opinion: 1. The election will be free and fair. 2. Rigging and pre-thumb printing will fail. 3. Jonathan absolutely needs this election to be won by PDP, the same way Tinubu vehemently fights all the time for his party in Lagos. 4. Jonathan's acceptance of defeat in May is not a sacrifice. He was in charge of the Election, he had no choice but to accept the verdict of the people. Even if he had to contest the results, it will be after he vacated the office. Anything contrary to this would have had dire consequences and reduced him to nothing. He would have been thoroughly disgraced. 5. If Jonathan is not bothered as some commentators have said, then he will be capped the most unsuitable politician of our time. 6. Campaigning vigorously as a commentator mentioned earlier does not necessarily require media hype. Making frantic phone calls and privately meeting with stakeholders is a vigorous exercise you should not expect to see in the media. Hence there is no need countering the remark. The poster may be right with his assertion. Moreso, we do not see Tinubu moving from street to street in Lagos, but feel his influence. 7. Ditto 1 above, I strongly believe PDP will win. The recent unconfirmed revelations on some media platforms of the alleged gross misappropriation under Jonathan may have affected his rating and control among his people, coupled with arguments on Infrastructural deficit in the state may also have an adverse effect, but not suitable enough to slide victory in APC's way. In my opinion, Timi Alaibe may have had a better chance over Sylva. 8. I wish Bayelsans well. Both key candidates have had 4 years each with very little to show. Both candidates bring no new hope! 3 Likes |
