IMO, I enjoyed Ramsey most time today, you can see he drives the ball, defends better than carzola, creating chances and assisted also gets himself in goal scoring positions even though he blasts them away

It's in Ramseys nature to burst forward.. He needs someone with positional discipline to cover up for him. That was why his partnership with Arteta blossomed last 2 season..

How come no one cuts Carzola slacks when he has off nights, some even predicted he was done with the first team and must be shipped away.

How come no one cuts Ozil slacks when we lose games, his mannerism and demeanor betrays his passion for the game he is blamed everytime we can't convert chances on this thread like he is not creating chances.

How come no one cuts Metersacker slacks when he has off nights, he is ridiculed and thrown to the gutters of mediocrity as soon as we conceded goals.

Cazorla ia out for close to 3 months... We'll be seeing more of Ramsey in that position..

You are very correct.. I like the fact that he drives the ball.. But if we're caught on the counter when he's upfield, he leaves us exposed and his tackling ability amounts to nothing..

He just needs to be a little more cautious in his runs.. That's All

You are missing the point.. Ramsey's preferred position is in the middle of the park. That was exactly where he was played today. Before now, he was played out of position.

And He had a good game today by any standards.. Just that he left us way too exposed a few times.

Ramsey's preferred position is where Ozil is currently playing and that is the traditional number 10 position, where he is entitled the freedom of play, running into the box and creating chances and little responsibility with regards to position.

Today Ramsey played Carzola's position (CMF) playing right next to flamini and that position comes with a lot of responsibilities and discipline and can Ramsey be trusted with such?, Ozil played 10 while Campbell and OX manned the flanks.

On this same thread we have had people suggest we shunt Ozil back to the wings so Ramsey can claim "his rightful position" in their thoughts..

Pairing him with Flamini is a diaster waiting to happen.
