ticking:
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

~ Martin Niemöller

This saying is so true for the present stage of dictatorship we find ourselves now.

1) They rubbished Madueke without facts, we were silent.

2). They did the same to Okonjo-Iwela, we shrugged, na dem dem.

3). They shot at unarmed protesters we said it serves them right(why did they burn mosque)

4). They sent a bill to gag freedom of speech and we kept quiet.

5). They held Nnamdi Kanu against court orders, we kept quiet at least he's not my relative.

When they come for you, just remember your silence.

"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends"

~Martin Luther King Jr.
Great quotes....but how relevant to this situation?.... what are we silent on that we should be speaking up about? Is it that we should speak up against the raising of the Biafran flag at the match?...or we should speak up against the flag raisers being thrown out of the venue? Either way, we are not silent.@topic... I just believe this Biafran thing is about the old heads in their last days being desperate to see their life long dream come true. We have seen the results of the break away countries .... none of them is better off than they were before.... as they continue to sub divide. One Biafra today.... tomorrow there would be a group calling to break away from Biafra and form their own country. My view.

I think their problem is just marginalisation! You would do more if you were in their shoes.

What makes u think am nt in their region?

I Dnt support it.

Let me ask you which marginalization? do you wnt me to mention igbos we hv in government?

or hv you take a look @ state govern by Igbo governors and compare to others,eg ABA in abia state.

Why agitated for division of a country Nigeria?

Let's be real who are those that will govern the so call biafra is it nt Nigerians, with their corrupt and wicked mind against another?

If a section of Nigeria has prblm what happen to their senators and Rep members.what is the function of those senators?

or are senators from Igbo region nt igbos.

Senators n reps our the mouth piece of their various regions.

Who in Senate has stood up to say I wnt this in so so an so region n governmnt rubbish it, with no reason.

Okk you wnt to be a president, will you stay in ur house and become one?or you xpect other region to gv up so that There will b no competition.

You wnt to b a president then wake up n work for it,gej didn't sleep @ home n become one.he didn't stage a protest or kill Ppl.

Kiss all errors n mistakes

I wonder why, inspite of all the tribes we have in Nigeria, the Yorubas seem to be more pained about this Biafra issue. To me,I'm so indifferent because Ngeria has not been good to her citizens. The more the Yorubas tend to display their hatred towards the Igbos, the more I tend to love their struggle coupled with the fact that Nigeria has nothing but corrupt politicians to offer.

As a matter of fact, the yorubas comments on this issue and other issues are very rampant, bc of their media sophistication. Such issues will naturally attract the yoruba interest. I believe, the yorubas will thrive best than any other tribe in Nigeria if their is a split.

But I think the yorubas are embarrassed at the path the Igbos are following on this matter. It lacks tactics, it's most Backward and barbaric.

The Igbos will be nuisance not only to surrounding nations, but to the rest of W AFRICA and Africa at large. Even the Northern region will thrive better because of the cooperation, togetherness and genuine love for one another. These vital ingredients for nation building is grossly lacking in the East.

I am not sure of this command; its just may be. On another note, you can be judged with what you write here. Justine Sacco was sacked just because of what she tweeted. u call BIAFRA flag useless...u should just stop hating already..ur mind is so full of hate..hypocricy is when ur senile president would support the creation of the independent state of Palestine and yet suppress Biafran agitation..when MKO illegally declared himself president and called for the creation of ODUDUWA republic did u call for him to be stoned to death...they would have sang the Biafran Anthem and wait for ur stones...Awon oniranu

Its nice that they were expelled from the stadium. They should learn that just because they can choose to misbehave in Nigeria and go scud free, such behavior won't be tolerated outside the shores of this country.

It's better they are treated like militants. Soon they will claim they were the one who developed Senegal. Since they claim to be from Biafra, they should tear the Nigerian passport with them and move around with their biafrans passport and see if they won't find themselves in aba market
thank you for helping to broadcast about my country BIAFRA

Re: Nigerians Expelled From Senegal Stadium For Displaying Biafra Flags by Nobody: 3:51pm On Dec 06, 2015
Ironically, the road to freedom isn't definite, the most important thing is for it to be achieved. When Martin Luther King was fighting for the freedom of the blacks, the whites saw it as barbaric, but the end point is that freedom was achieved.

Talking about who prospers or suffers after Biafra is achieved isn't relevant now because Nigeria to me is worst than hell itself due to inceasant corruption, looting, lack of infrastructure and too much poverty.

Also, you talked about coperation amongst Nigerians,my friend, that's a big fat lie.Nigeria is the only country I see hatred and tribalism manifest in all sector. No mutual love for the country itself let alone love amongst citizens. The only thing I see is political coperation based on selfish interest between two majority tribes against the other.

Finally,I'll really love it if we shun tribalism and focus more on Nation building because we can never grow by telling a pargicular tribe to their face how inferior and less of a Nigerian they are by not allowing them have the benefits others enjoy.
