Only a heartless person will not get emotional watching this clip

Nigerians have been raped and assaulted by the political class.

I shed a few tears listening to that Motorcyclist .

This report is not from SR before the Jonathanians start apportioning blame and lose focus of the message

It is now obvious that we have documentary evidence of the culpability of Dasuki and Diezani and by extension GEJ

Let us forget our division and rancor. Anybody that is against the war on corruption in Nigeria should really be ashamed of themselves.

Lalasticlala, Mynd44 please share this with Nigerians

There's no doubt that GEJ regime was full of corruption. But out of 55 years of Nigeria independence Gej rule for 5 years and you want me to believe that corruption started with him. Nigeria earned more than $800 billion in oil revenue since independence. Where is the money? If the past Head of states & governors plug in back 50% of all the revenue accrued to this Nation,Nigeria would have been an envy of others develop economies of the world.

The type of corruption in Nigeria can only be from Nigeria. Nowhere else in the world can ours take place and the country not become FAILED STATE completely.
SLS captured it well when he said our type of corruption is the worst in the whole world because it's pure stealing.

I have come to realize that the biggest problem in Nigeria is not corruption per se. It is the attitude of the majority of us who are victims of corruption towards those who have pauperized them and future of their unborn grand children. Many of victims of corruption, who complain hourly about poor state of things, are sadly same set of people who defend their oppressors with the last drop of blood in them.

It's very sad that democracy has not helped Nigeria as we thought. It has instead made people to get away with impunity upon impunity.

You are right to a degree. Its sometimes pathetic reading on Nairaland and seeing the oppressed supporting their oppressor rather than demand for good governance.

I have to state that before the 2015 elections, I told myself that if GEJ 'won', I would drop my Nigerian passport and change nationality by any legal means possible because there was no more hope for Nigeria. Too much wastage and lack of vision at the expense of millions of Nigerians.

President Buhari is another opportunity to set Nigeria aright.
If Buhari cannot do it then I will finally lose hope for this country. Amen to your prayers. May God give PMB and Nigerians the courage and wisdom to halt corruption, and start breeding a new society of leaders with vision and loyal citizens.

Lalasticlala, This is more important than "Don Jazzy tweets PSquare".
. You have said it all for me. I pray God help us to stand upright no matter whose ox is gored in the total war against these evil and wicked corrupt politicians and their partners in crime in Corporate Nigeria. The dice is cast.

For where ? They won't show face but wait let another thread comes up about Jonathan traveling to Burundi to monitor election you will be surprised with the manners at which they will be shouting Jonathan their hero. I keep telling people, a year of PMB will be far better than 6 wasted years under the Otuoke man.

I have been waiting for the chronic GEJ supporters to come and justify these actions by their hero and his cronies...

I trust Nigeria.

You can be a wailer all you want. You can shout "witch-hunt" all you want.

Sooner than later, everyone or someone closely related will be a victim.

And the ones you are wailing for will be in far away London sipping expensive champagne.

So when I read from the apologists, I nod my head and say, "just a matter of time...."

Until we the youths and all the good people of Nigeria take law into our hands, nothing will ever be done.
Bloody revolution is all what we need.

From the people in Abeokuta should be ready to attack and lynch OBJ and his family anywhere u find them....to the people of Lagos to massacre Tinubu and other thieves in Lagos.Extending the baton to the good people of Niger to show no mercy to IBB,Abubakar and their families and to the core north and southern part of the country to the East.We must be ready to kill them all.

Nigeria will be great again.

Fighting corruption starts from small things. Its Amazing that for decades, everyone passing thorough the Lagos International Airport knows of all those Immigration officers, Custom Officers and the rest openly collecting bribes and absolutely nothing has been done to totally stop it.

I personally believe a military style of Government or communist style as practiced in China is the best for Nigeria.

Democracy isnt tailor made for every country.

Thomas Sankara wasn't a democrat but if you read about what he achieved in Burkina Faso, you will realise he is one of the greatest Africans ever. Even Chinas development would have been somewhat hampered with democracy.
but
For Example,Shooting convicted thieves such as Cecelia Ibru and Tafa Balogun in bar beach rather than giving them cosmetic sentences will send a strong signal but democracy wont allow.

I am shocked because if the old guard like OBJ, Anenih etc condone and partake in corruption as usual, a shoeless son of a fisherman from the ND creeks with a PhD who got overwhelming masses votes in 2011should have known better and worked for the masses interests but alas...

Under GEJ , Nigeria had the highest revenue ever in its 101 years history. All that opportunity wasted.
Jonathan government has done more harm to this nation than one could even imagine

If for some reason you all don't understand the moral of the story it is that all of you are corrupt. It is ingrained in your psyche. It is in your blood. It is no fault of yours, it is the fault of the system in Nigeria. Deep down, we all have dark thoughts and desires but what holds us back from acting on those thoughts and desires is the fear of consequences. There are none in Nigeria. None whatsoever. Do you think people in America are saints? Definitely not. But, they know committing a crime comes with heavy consequences and apart from that, the system will hunt you down, all the way to the ends of the earth until they get you. In Nigeria, you can pretty much kill someone in one state and move to another and live a comfortable life if you can afford it. There are no consequences for actions in Nigeria which is a disgrace.

The western media likes to demonise Nigeria. Is Nigeria the only corrupt entity in the world. What about corruption engulfing FIFA right now. Was that carried out by Nigerians? The problem with Nigeria is that however, we have failed to criminalise corruption as a deterrent. Every country has its own problems. Let's hope Buhari through the EFCC can curb this menace. Corruption starts from the top. Heads must begin to roll

If Buhari does not jail and fight corruption or try to fight corruption, prosecute promoters of ethnic violence for selfish purpose May ALLAH never forgive him, because this video clearly made me u/stand one thing. Our whole problem in Nigeria can be solved by routing out corruption.

May ALLAH give him the strenght to position Nigeria on the fight track to development, give him wisdom to judge fairly and strengthen our inter relationship across, faith, religion, ethnicity and region.
May grant us peaceful co-existence between regions. Ameen ameen.
Stop with this sort of whining, already. Unless you can show me one country whose problems were solved by Allah. It is we the people that must say enough is enough, that if Buhari does nothing about the vermin we will march in the streets and chase him out of Aso Rock before descending on these people as well as corrupt judges. Allah has given us the brains to solve our problems, if we won't use them, we're on our own.

It's obviously disheartened seeing part of the oppressed youths (graduates, non-academic students and the undergraduates) wasting their time and megabytes to rubbish the on-going effort of the financial crime agencies of the government in recovering looted funds and also to finally kill corrupt practices in the body of this great nation. I broke into tears when some says the current fight against corruption is "partial, selective and out of justices".
For crying out loud, how could say such a thing? Is it not this same Nigeria we are in the last 5years of PDP rule when 'stealing is not corruption" which the head of government failed to dealt with the looters?
Because, I'm quite sure if the immediate past government at the center had battled corruption with technology as they promised then.... By now the witch-hunting wouldn't have being so much. And Nigerians would be rest assured that allocated funds would be judiciously utilitized...
Moreover, I will urged you to save your MBs because, the opposition leaders have been working tirelessly, day and night, rebranding, slated congresses and even zoned presidential ticket to the northern part of the country in order to be fully prepared for 2019 general election and if fortunately the poll be on their side by defeating the CHANGE party..... then, they could also revisit their failed plan to fight corruption with sophisticated technologies and be selective or partial too... And till then, Nigerian Youths from the North to south must be one to support the fight to kill corruption in our society...
Fight against corruption is a fight against insecurity, unemployment, abject poverty, and decayed education system.
I Support Buhari's War Against Corruption Today For Better Nation...If this present Gov fails, I wonder what the future holds!!

In Nigeria, where corruption is part of daily life, police officers routinely demand bribes, local government leaders pocket money meant for schools and the former national security advisor is accused of stealing billions from the military. As part of a week-long series "Nigeria: Pain and Promise," special correspondent Nick Schifrin reports on the challenges of fighting corruption.

Truly, it takes a man with brave heart to fight corruption in Nigeria. I have witnessed corruption, first hand, in all its ramifications in Nigeria. Having said that, corruption should not be nailed at the door step of GEJ. GEJ had good intentions for the masses BUT he was overwhelmed by the insincerity and lack of integrity of his lieutenants. Note that corruption is a whole gamut of vices ranging from misapplication of public funds to "pressing green button" to get ahead of competitors in school admissions and job employments.

Those who perpetrate gargantuan corruption are the high and mighty. They are in political, civil service and religious circles. Sadly even the masses either because of deprivation or the lure to be rich have become corrupt too.

Fighting corruption has become an uphill task in Nigeria today because corruption has taken over our churches/mosques. Pastors and imams who are supposed to shape the morality of the society are now in the front row of corruption. Need I mention that even our erudite scholars both in society and ivory towers are drenched in corruption?.

The corruption situation in Nigeria is jn deed pathetic.

I wish Buhari well in his efforts to rid Nigeria of corruption. However, Buhari must keep his eyes on his lieutenants so that they don't just shout we are fighting corruption and using the opportunity to feather their own nest.

What good intentions please?

I believe that the disappointment some Nigerians have with GEJ is the fact that he was supposed to be one of us. He wasn't a part of the ex military brigade like OBJ. He wasn't from an aristocratic background like Yar Adua. He wasn't from a background of the same set of people who had drained this country for close to 50 years.

This was a regular Joe from the creeks who had no shoes, but came to a place of prominence through a balance of hard work and providence. An academic with a PhD. He was supposed to be a breath of fresh air. But in the end, he just seemed to fit in with the program and follow in the steps of his predecessors. He left many feeling disappointed and disillusioned.
