I decided to give tecno a chance so i got d phantom 5 yesterday. Dis is
my 1st tecno device and i must confess am feelin dis fone. I had to talk
well wit d sales rep cuz i didnt wnt to regret spndin 70k. Well am realy
enjoyin it no fault at all, de even sent me an update, lik seriously tecno
snt an update. Now, to d tins i dnt lik abt d fone.... No notification light,
dats bad, des no way of knowin wen ur battery is full, wen u av a missed
call or msg unles u pick d fone and check, am nt in luv wit d u.i.. Its dull,
no ois {optical image stabilization) for d camera.. If u shake u hand jst a
little d image gets blurred, d ba3 life is average o.. Am nt hapy wit dat. Dats all for now. Apart frm all dis, d fone is
great.

Seems like the con far outweighs the pro. No notification light, average battery life, no OIS... certainly not worth the 70k price tag.

i agree and i disagree, it depends on what you want really. Tak a look a d galaxy a8 for instance, no notification light, no ois, d same average ba3 life, d ram is even smaller 2gb and its 98k... Cuz its frm samsung.

How smartphones in the market now comes with optical image stabilization but I believe tecno should begin to work on that.

A8 does have notification light, though it's placement is unorthodox: the primary camera led flash at the back.

The ram may be only 2gb but it does have a superior SoC that optimizes maximum performance devoid of lag.

The GPU is also top notch. Corning gorilla 4, metallic ultra slim body, 5.7 inch screen that has a pixel per inch of 386 and is of Super Amoled in design (built).

The battery life is above average surely. The power friendly super amoled technology and S615 chipset saw to that.

Bottom line: Don't compare both, A8 is the better and stronger device. Also more reliable and more beautiful.

if you have used lg g3 or even g2, u will get wat am talkin abt. U cant personalise transitions, app drawer... Well they tried sha, lemme jst give it to them. I should not be blamed for expecting much, the phone was overhyped. The phone is nice but des nothing so special about it.

I dont want to argue but saying d snapdragon 615 in a8 is better than the mtk 6752 isnt correct. De are both 8 core processors, snapdragon has 4 cores clocking at 1.7ghz and the other 4 clocking at 1ghz... Mtk6752 has its 8 cores clocking at 1.7ghz. Now what does this, d mtk 6752 will handle intense gaming beta than the snapdragon 615. Both chipsets include ARMv8 cores, but Snapdragon 615 has been
formed on 28nm LP (Low power) process, and MT6752 has been formed
on TSMC’s superior 28nm HPM process which offers better performance
and lower leakage for conserving battery life. Apparently this is the
reason for inordinate heating issues in Snapdragon 615. MT6752 has
smaller die size which means it is more energy efficient and consumes
less power.
