Why Biafra Would Be A Contretemps by naijapips02: 11:19am On Dec 05, 2015
I am going to base this on two recent experiences. These experiences do not in any way form my judgement. I've always know that this is how we are and these are just two out of the many.

Just recently, precisely Last week, a young man sent me a whatsapp message alleging that he got my contact online. He said he knew me as a blog owner and web developer hence seek my criticisms in a new website he was building. He gave his email login so that i can log into his blogger account and I discovered from his email that he is a brother.

I had to tell him the trust. The Blogger site was as amateurish asf. He felt bad, so i offered to help him redesign it for Free, but only if he would agree to migrate it to wordpress because i feel more comfortable working with wordpress.

He agreed to do this, but didn't know how to get a host and a domain. So i offered to help him purchase hosting. We agreed that he would pay 3k into my account so that i would help him buy the host and set up the website for him for FREE.

Fast-forward to me sending him my account details. He asked whether i was igbo, which i replied, 'Yes'. And after that, i didn't hear from the brother again for like 2 days.

I didn't really bother about it. I thought that maybe he's not made the fund yet. So that evening, i just decided to chat him up.

I only said, 'whatsup Bro' then his next reply shocked me.

'Look Bro, revealing my mail details or probably chatting with you doesn't make me a fool'

'av been in this game for years now, for years now........as it stands, you don't have what i am looking for'

I was like, Bro, Seriously? For something i offered to do for free. Something i charge clients upwards of 20k to do.

The second experience was like a few months back....i think it should be in June.

I had this app/solution i was designing for Telcos. I had my design script, Pitch, proposal and everything ready.

So i went to Linkedin to get contacts that would help me push it up. I first tried igbo names working in Places like MTN and Etisalat. No reply came. Then i started trying everybody.

One day, i got a message from one Hadjiya. Won't mention her name here. She's a top executive in Etisalat. She said she read my Pitch and thought it'd be nice if I get to meet her MD in Lagos. Men, i was so overjoyed.

The D day came, and i had to travel all the way from Aba. When i got to her office, i understood that she's a very big shot. She's a manager in her channel. After the initial introductions and stuffs. She took me round the office to go and me their IT unit, and unfortunately, they were in a very important meeting. She then took me to the cafeteria and bought me lunch.

When the meeting was over, she took me to the IT section and introduced me to the IT's manager. I pitched my solution to the IT's manager and he really liked it. He said since my solution had to do with data consumption, i should meet the man incharge of Data and stuffs. He personally took me to the dude. I won't mention his name but He's Igbo.

Once i got there, the first question he asked me was my name and I told me. After that, the guy didn't even look up from his laptop. I beg him to sit and he reluctanctly offered me a sit. Then asked what my solution was about. I was still in the middle of explaining and he cut me short. Saying that he's had me and that he'd get back to me. I offered to give me the hard copy of my proposal that i had in hand so that he can go over it at his free time but he blatantly refused. I didn't want to cause a nuisance so i had to leave.

Why did i bring these up? Simple. Igbos do not trust their own. An igbo always see his fellow igboman as his competitor, not his brother. He would rather have a yoruba / Hausa man as his superior in any project than his fellow igboman.

The same cannot be said of the Hausas Or Yorubas who value brotherliness more than anything.

I doubt the op is Igbo as he didn't mention any name of any Igbo.
Besides you mention the manager of the channel...
But you didn't mention any other name...
What might cause that?

Very suspicious. I tell yah.
And I don't need explanation BC any form of modulation could have been done on the original post.

dude, i didn't mention her name. I said she is a Hadjiya....that's a title woman amongst moslems, i think.

The arrangement was very secretive and i am not going to violate the privacy of friends that did me good.

Then no one will listen to you BC this really looked like its staged..
Friends that did you good?
Why weren't they highlighted in your story as every person you mentioned played hostile to you as you acclaimed to, then what are you violating?
Ok. let's assume you were being frank. why not meet those personalities and ask for their permission and put this in article. So people can criticise and investigate?

Or do you think we are fools and are ready to digest cabbages like nonenties.
Accept it this your story is a propaganda.
Hope the mods will do justice to this..

Lol. you re sick. I mentioned the specific departments. I can't ask permission to bring people's name in on an online article i wrote about a secretive appointment. I hope you do understand English?

I don't need you to digest anything . I just told my story. You either believe it or you zoom off. There are many other stories like these and what i just highlighted are common truths that every igboman know deep within them.

Stop lieing and accusing ndiigbo of nothing they don't know about.
Come out plain and say who you are?
Besides your coordination might be poor that every one that participated in your story took you as a scam.
Have you asked your self a question to why they played hostile to you. Even If its true?
Why in a haste to conclude, if you didn't have an ulterior motive?

Imagine what you put up there...
You wanna use 3k to do hosting for a website, where is it done...? How many bandwith and traffic will it take??
Someone on faceless internet gave you his website login details?
Wow, honestly am just hearing this testimony for the first time?

If all this alone doesn't look to you like a scam mehn it is capital SCAM for me.

Face your problems and leave innocent Igbo's alone.

You are a fool, the person that invited you is a bigger fool...the guy that stopped you is wise, because you would have constituted a mess there with this your typo errors you have been brandishing only to explain a simple incident..

Thank you stars the guy was smart to stop you, if not, it would have been in the Zoo police cage that you will realize the mistake you have made by going there in the first place.

Op, I don't know whether wht you are saying is true or not. But I will give u my own personal experience you can confirm now. It is only an Igboman that will carry another Igboman and train him in trade for few yrs and then settle him with millions of naira. Go to Onitsha, Aba or Nnewi and confirm.
During my school days at NAU, Awka few yrs ago, I knew of a guy who was settled with #9M. Something like this is not even rare, it is a culture in Igbo land.
I don't know why u weren't helped, but a real Igbo man will definitely help a brother, especially when they are outside Igboland.
Study top 100 richest igbomen, nd u will be amazed with how they help each other.
Am a product of Igbo generosity. Have you ever wondered why there are a lot of igbo people in other regions than those regions in Igbo land?
#generosity.

you are obviously not in tunes with the happenings. many of these so called helpers, how many of their servants do you think they settle? Most of them, after you have served for upwards of 7 years would just incriminate you with one allegation and never settle you.

The top richest igboman cannot even build a road to his house. He's only after his castle and what not.

don't say what you don't know. You are obviously not from igbo land. Ask yourself, why is it that parents are very reluctant now to send their wards into servant hood?

Of course, the average igboman would always want to boast. That is why you see them donating millions in the church so that they would hail them 'a na ekwu a na eme'. That same person that donated millions in the church, take a widow and visit him at home. Tell him that she needs money to pay her kid's fee and see what he would tell you.

You are busted. You are not an Igbo. Stop parading yourself as one. If you think you are one, then clear me on this:
1. You have a blog www..com and you administer the blog with the name Seun and email admin@.com, Seun is a Yoruba name, when Igbos start answering that?
2. U claimed to be from Imo state? Which village and LGA?
3. U claimed to live in Aba, where precisely?
4. Over 95% of ur posts and comments are anti-Biafra and anti-Kanu, in such scale no real Igbo will ever employ. Any reason for that?

Just like I always say, only a referendum will define the territory of Biafra. Nobody, Kanu, Uwazureke or any IPOB has the right to forcefully put any group of people in the Biafran Map. Only a referendum will determine that, and am positive the outcome of that exercise will give many pips heart attack like the descendant of that fallen angel, .

I quite understand your plight my brother. You see, this problem of igbo not trusting their own and seeing his fellow kinsman as a competitor is not peculiar with igbos alone. This is as well prevalent amongst the Ijaws efik, urhobos and other tribes of the so called SS and Niger Delta. This problem didn'the start today and it is as a result of the demonic propaganda and divide-and-rule tactics that the Northern oligarchy and their yoruba progandist and collaborators have used against us over the decades. They succeeded in dividing us and making us to see ourselves as different people so that they can continue to lord over us and diabolically annex the resources of our land. Which has made us to dislike and, in most cases, hate ourselves to the point that we see our fellow kinsmen as our problem. This has made a delta man, for instance, not to see a bayelsa man as his brother (this which never happens in the north or west). But we are wiseready now. We now know who our real enemies are.
