There is a question I have been asking SaharaReporter but no answer yet. Did Dino opened the account before making allegiance? If the account had been opened before swearing-in, he had not broke any law, so far he declare the account and the amount he's having there with CCB. But, if he didn't declare it or just opening it after making allegiance or sworn-in, then he can be prosecuted. The law did not say he cannot withdraw from the already owned foreign account but cannot operate alone, meaning he cannot lounge money or security in it again after swearing-in. The money cannot be dormant for four or eight years as the case may be.
Again, I don't think the bank would be stupid to open an account for him without getting any paper to show he's a student. I remember, when I opened an account when I was in school, I made a photocopy of my admission letter to the bank to really show I was a student. Even during NYSC, the bank requested for Call-up letter photocopy, let alone student account. SR should make investigation if truly he was a student when he opened the account than giving thepublic half baked information and also investigate if the account was opened before swearing-in and also if he has made cash deposit after swearing-in.
