Scholar8200: Christianity had killed 10 times the number muslems are will yet kill during the crusade. Christianity is older to muslem and they've learnt alot from series of wars and crusades they've undertaken therefore abandoning most of the evil contents in the bible. |

Delusiongirl20:How many Times have we explained this to ye atheists harden heart ? Dint Jesus command His followers to not only Love their neighbors but also we should love our enemy? Any christians acting contrary to this is violating one of the TWO greater commandment of God. Op. Everything you said about religions , holy, Books. The same can be said of politics, infact politics has cause more death than religion, but politics cannot be eliminated from society; we can only try to find the right political formula. Neither can we eliminate our religious need; we can only find the right religion. Now listen to me you harden minded; Show me in the Bible where Jesus or His apostles taught that He wants people to fight for Him with earthly weapons. Jesus even warn peter for drawing his sword to cut of the ear of a man who came to arrest Jesus, infact Jesus even say , if He want physical war, he would've send legion of angels to fight for Him and NOT human. Be careful not to judge the Bible by the way people abuse it. Just because someone says they're a Christian does not mean they are one! You never judge a philosophy by its abuse. 1 Like |

Scholar8200:infact, it was the apostles who were killed for their faith. I copy this from truthman thread. HOW THE APOSTLES DIED: 1. Matthew Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword wound. 2. Mark Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead. 3. Luke Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous Preaching to the lost. 4. John Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered From death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully 5. Peter He was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross. According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died. 6. James The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club. * This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation. 7. James the Son of Zebedee, was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was ultimately beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian. 8. Bartholomew Also known as Nathaniel Was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip. 9. Andrew Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors For two days until he expired. 10. Thomas Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Sub- continent. 11. Jude Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. Phillip (crucified)— Through his miraculous healing and preaching, Philip converted the wife of the Preconsul of the city” of Hierapolis. Of course, this event angered the Preconsul and ordered that both Philip and Bartholomew be tortured and crucified upside down. While on the cross, Philip continued to preach and he was able to convince the crowd and the Preconsul to release Bartholomew, while insisting that he (Philip) remained crucified. Bartholomew was released but Philip died on the cross and was later buried somewhere within the city. 12. Matthias The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded. 13. Paul Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament. Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times For the sake of the Faith. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: But he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Pass on to encourage other Christians. — with Martyrdom of the Apostles 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Delusiongirl20:Kindly show me from one of the books -the Bible- in your op, verses in the NT that 'inspired' the crusades. Also show from the Bible how the apostles launched their crusades. I specified NT because the Bible is not a set of random, unconnected books but it captures various dispensations as they unfold and the last therein which continues till now is the NT. |

Scholar8200: Those crusaders took their inspirations from the Bible as muslems takes same from their holy book. There is no verse in the Quran that directly encourages suicide bombing and mass killing of infidels using bombs. The crusaders linked and interpreted their actions (crusade) from the bible verses as you usually easily do interprete some verses literally or non-literally to suit a motive. 2 Likes 1 Share |

They are both rather equally violent, barbaric, and have no place anywhere in modern society except perhaps as historical artifacts. |

Crusadistic you did not have better argument to present only to copy and paste the same thing in all the thread. I say this to your muslims brother: yes, the old testament is part of the bible but it doesent mean ALL the law in it apply to CHRISTIANS,the New Covenant SUPERSEDE and REPLACE the Old Covenant.Christians are only advice to learn from the old testament: Romans 15:4 “For whatever things were WRITING BEFORE were written for our LEARNING that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have HOPE” God has already given us A New covenant and command us to follow . Here what God say in Jeremiah: Jeremiah 31:31-34 31“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE PEOPLE OF ISREAL and with the people of Judah. 32 It will NOT BE LIKE THE COVENANT I MADE WITH THEIR ANCESTORS when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to[ a] them,[b]” declares the Lord. 33“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,”declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.34No longer will they teach their neighbor,or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord.“FOR I WILL FORGIVE THEIR WICKEDNESS AND WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE .” In the old testament their are laws that if you break, God will deal with you accordingly, God love required justice, so God deal with them accordingly, but in the book of Jeremiah God say “FOR I WILL FORGIVE THEIR WICKEDNESS AND WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE .”indicating God will have mercy and "FORGIVE THEIR WICKEDNESS" no more only if they ask for forgiveness. This new covenant was fullfiled in the new testament. The ten commandments no longer apply as law because in the doctrine of Christ they are completely superseded. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus demands much more of us than the ten commandments. He not only forbids murder and adultery, but also the CAUSE, hate and lust. We are to love God with ALL OUR MIND,if you love God you will keep His commandments, so the key word is LOVE. No wonder Jesus give the TWO great commandments involving love God and your fellow human. So, love for God and fellowman, not just because there is a command: “You shall not kill”.Hope you understand now?. How do you explained this ? Allah SANCTION PROSTITUTION IN THE QURAN: There is a type of marriage in Islam that is known as “Nikah Mut’a (Mut’ah)” or TEMPORARY MARRIAGE. Fixed-Term Marriage, Temporary Marriage or PLEASURE MARRIAGE are different names for the Arabic term, Nikah Mut’a. This form of marriage is based on a CONTRACT between a man and woman with a fixed date of expiry. The man and woman will become strangers to each other after the expiration date. Its format is that the woman says the following to the man “I married you to myself on such-and- such a dower and for the known period of time” – where this period is stated exactly. The man’s answer will be: “I accept.” The dower can be in the form of money or something else. Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 13o: Narrated ‘Abdullah (b. Mas’ud): We used to participate in the holy battles led by Allah’s Apostle and we had nothing (NO WIVES) WITH US. So we said,“Shall we get ourselves castrated?” He forbade us that and THEN ALLOWED US TO MARRY WITH A TEMPORARY CONTRACT (2) and recited to us: ‘O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, but commit no transgression .’ (Surah 5:87) Surah 5:87: “O ye who believe! Forbid not the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you , and transgress not, Lo! Allah loveth not transgressors.” (Pickthall) Is this not prostitution? When muhammed jihadist was in a war as usual, the urged for sex arrived, they are allowed to marry base on contract just to satisfied their pleasure. Satanic religion. 1 Like 1 Share |
