Fleeing Boko Haram terrorists attempting to escape from military onslaught in Sambisa forest, through Pulka have been intercepted and decisively dealt with by troops in blocking position in the area. A statement by Colonel Sani Usman, Acting Director, Army Public Relations, stated that during the encounter many of the terrorists were killed while one wascaptured alive.The troops also recovered a General Purpose Machine Gun, several rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunitions, 47 rifle magazines, 36 hand grenades and quite a number of Shilka gun empty shells.In a related development, troops have also dealt another decisive blow to the Boko Haram terrorists at Buni Yadi general area yesterday day afternoon. Let me tell you the real story.

The 105 soldiers who escaped into the wild are alive. However there is another brigade (the 118 i believe) whose men and T72 tank are missing. From all indications a major, a captain and the men under them were wiped out and quietly buried somewhere in Borno. The army is keeping it hush-hush, but those men...

....they've relatives who tell tales.
